Jake Long. IMO OT is a much bigger need than DT.

Definitely Glenn Dorsey. The draft is not always about need, best players available trump need a lot, and Dorsey is almost certainly #1 on Atlanta's draft board. The million dollar question is who is #2 b/c it looks like St.Louis might take Dorsey if Chris Long goes #1 overall. I think Ryan is no higher than 3rd on their board, maybe lower. QBs always get overrated coming into drafts, and as we saw with Rodgers, Quinn, and Leinart QBs have been falling lately after being called the best QBs in their drafts.

Dimintroff has bragged on Jake Long a bit. Smokescreen? Maybe. But I doubt it is a sure thing that Dorsey is higher, especially with the injury concerns.

There aren't any real 'injury concerns' from what I hear out of Atlanta, which is why I really think they covet Glenn Dorsey the most. It might not matter if St.Louis goes for Dorsey like I think they probably will.

I don't think St Louis go after Dorsey I think they're all about defensive end and will be Happy with Long (virginia) unless the Dolphins do the stupid thing and take him.

I agree, although I do not agree with the Vernon Gholston talk. I would say it is Chris Long, and then Jake Long or Glenn Dorsey.

I think Gholston is vastly overrated by a lot of prognosticators.

I believe its Dorsey, he's a higher rated prospect then Long is injuries aside, Long isnt an elite LT, Dorsey is an elite talent at DT and there hasnt been a guy of his caliber in awhile, if the injuries are just a smokescreen to get teams to pass him I believe he's #1...They have enough 2nd rd picks to move up and grab someone like Cherilius without too much problem, or they could settle for a guy like Nicks or Collins and keep the extra picks.

Yeah, Vern's gotten a little overated, he's not an elite prospect. He's a top 10 pick for sure but he's not as good a prospect as Jake or Chris Long, Glenn Dorsey, Sedrick Ellis, or Darren McFadden.

Glenn Dorsey

He is arguably the #1 player in the draft and the Falcons have a need for a interior pass rush and an impact player in the middle of their D.

I'm going to go against the norm here and say Matt Ryan. I don't think he's the best QB in the draft, but he's a lot better than anyone on the roster, and adding an offensive playmaker will put butts in the seats.

Plus I hope y'all take him before we pick at 5!

I went with Jake Long even though I really don't have a single f'n clue.

I'll go with Long since in New England they liked their lineman big and white. lol

It's really hard to say. They have dire needs at key positions that all need to be addressed early and often.

I think that the Falcons will either pick Jake Long or Glenn Dorsey.

I would rather get Jake Long because in my opinion we need to build our O-line so our franchise/future/ QB doesnt turn into David Carr..

I think Dorsey is the higher rated prospect, but Jake Long is the higher need. The case can be made for either, but based on the question, I answered Dorsey.

I'd say Dorsey. Of course, if Chris Long is there, it's moot, but a good d-line is essental for what the Falcons have to do.

A) It's Falcons' Big Board, not the lone Falcon's Big Board
B) Jake Long

Also depends on what scenario the Falcons front office values more:

1. Jake Long
2. Pat Sims

Or

1. Glenn Dorsey
2. Gosder Cherilus

And I believe they have Dorsery rated higher then Long is, and Dorsey would be able to represent that franchise alot better then Long could, Dorsey is a stand up guy that people love and if healthy I could see him being the face for the Falcons and a dominant guy for years.

Sorry, I hate spelling and grammar mistakes. It's really not that hard to spell it right.
