I like the Groves pick but I tend to think that if Rivers was on the board when the Jags pick he might get consideration too

I do like Mendenhall but I dont like the pick. We have such a huge need at OL that if we pass on OL in round 1 there is nothing that guarantees that we can get a capable OT in round 2 or later. I'd go Otah.

love the setup, great job

no for albert, i dont see how its popular, thats the first albert pick ive seen. our offensive line is fine, it was just one game. give us a cb or lb

If that happens I would be the happiest man in the world! Well I guess it also depends on what else we give up to move up those 4 spots.

I'd rather have Talib over Cherilus.

Oh damn, I completely forgot about Talib.

Love the Phins pick, but it's foolish to think that Rivers will fall that far. I just don't see that happening, at all.

There's no way a rookie corner starts over Jammer. Flowers is a great prospect, but it's hard for me to see the Chargers draft him. Paul Oliver is in almost the exact same mold as him so it doesn't make a lot of sense.

Bad Giants pick. Kenny Phillips, Reggie Smith, Aqib Talib and Antoine Cason are available and we take a LB?

"Jerry has stated that his #1 priority is getting a WR next to TO"

He also stated that he had no intentions on drafting a WR in the 1st round also...

http://www.star-telegram.com/281/story/543028.html

When asked about it his comment was "Dont think so" as he would prefer a vet right now...There really isnt an elite talent at WR this year, with Thomas having the most potential, but if he doesnt fall to 22 im pretty sure we dont spend one on any of the other guys...Sweeds not a bad pick, I just really believe Jerry doesnt want to spend that 1st on a wr, Kenny Phillips would be a MUCH better pick(who isnt even in your 1st rd) and safety is a need for us...He might be the pick at 22, and if he is there at 28 I think he's a lock, he's very high on our draft board and we are probably looking safety in this draft as early as the 2nd if we like Morgan...Phillips being the best safety is great value if we can land him who can take over once Roy is weeded out.

Derrick Harvey works, considering Williams, Albert and Mendenhall are all off the board. Hope it doesn't go that way though.

Two problems.

1. No way in hell Dorsey falls to 6.
2. No way in hell Dorsey isn't a Raider if he's there at #4.

Solid Packers pick, we'll probably go BPA. Great layout as well.

not a good chargers pick. Phillips and Smith are still available...

I like the Eagles pick here, but still think we need to address both WR and Safety early.

Okay packer pick, i'd rather have Cason there I just don't see us taking a first round OT. I know we don't have many needs, but wait till the 2nd round to do that. Unless there was someone real talented at #30 which there won't be, I don't see us taking one. Cherilus is not the BPA there.

campbell at 21 seems like a bit of a reach at this point.

Nice set up but I don''t know if Kelly with his knee problems is a good choice there, maybe Groves or or Devin Thomas

Jakey

Groves will be the pick in that situation for the Steelers...no doubt.

Nice set up to the mock. I like Long, but I really think we go Dorsey if he's there.

If the Packers go OL in round one I would guess they'd be looking for someone who could eventually be the replacement to Chad Clifton at LT. Gosder is a real good RT but Sam Baker would fit our need at LT and that would be my choice

I have zero desire for Gosder Cherilus on the Packers.

I'm still not sold on Merling being anything better than the DE's we have now. If Harvey is gone, with this situation I would rather see us take Jeff Otah, who I am a huge fan of, and put him in at RT right away. Then fix our DE spot in the next round.

Groves will be the pick in that situation for the Steelers...no doubt.

Yeah I know. I read that article after I made the mock.

Personally, I'd be more happy with Kelly for us.

I'm not a big fan of Devin Thomas (I like Sweed more), but I think the Bills will go with Thomas at 11.

Hopefully Harvey falls but if not Merling would be a good pick for the Vikings.

I've seen this Brandon Flowers pick before and I just don't get it. Even a team as stacked as the Bolts wouldn't use a first round pick on a nickel back. Your justification that Flowers would jump in opposite Cromartie is pretty ridiculous in the first place: ever heard of Quentin Jammer? He shed the bust label years ago and has emerged as a pretty darn close to shut-down corner. Ask Randy Moss, or anyone else he's covered lately.

Sadly, with Clinton Hart getting extended, it's not looking like Kenny Phillips is a realistic choice anymore either. The Chargers will most likely draft OT.
