Hey, just wanted to let everyone know I made the rankings update live.

Positional, Top 100, Sleepers, Overrated / Underrated, etc.

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sub/rankings.html

This will probably be the last big one before the final version comes out the week of the draft.

Good to see the 3 VT recievers in the top 25, I knew Vince Hall was slow, but good lord, not that slow, and good lord, Flowers is an idiot, one of those comments on there cracked me up about Sean Glennon.

Branden Albert as #8 prospect overall, his stock is really soaring. No.2 o-line prospect now as well behind Long.

I'm surprised at Stewart remaining the #2 in your book, behind D-Mac. I would've thought his surgury would have dropped him to #3 behind D-Mac and Mendenhall.

Otherwise, solid rankings, mildly but not too surprised to see Mayo overtake Connor as the top ILB

Thank you Scott for bumping Cason up to #4, thats where ive had him all along and I really hope you give him to Dallas in your mock...Great fit, smart player, and I like his fundamentals and hips alot more then Talib.

But I think your making a mistake putting Jermichael Finley at #8 just because he ran a slow 40 at the combines, the only thing he needs to work on is upper body strength for helping in the running game, as far as a receiving TE he is going to be something special and people are definately sleeping on him.

Oh scott, one thing I don't understand. Mayo is your top ILB, yet Conner is the higher overall prospect on your lists.

I still dont understand why Alberts stock has risen in this down time.
Also how is Mike Hart overated? I feel he's been so scrutinized(spelling?) that he is where he belongs now.

Nice work scott, I found the Chris Williams below Gosder Cherilus interesting. Do you think Cherilus is queitly working his way back up into mid first round consideration?

Scott Wright

I guess I could see scenarios where Cherilus cracks the Top 20. Wouldn't call it likely though.

As for why he moved ahead of Williams, it's not really anything that Chris did. I just really like Gosder Cherilus.

DeSean Jackson at #3?

DeSean Jackson at #3?

:(

That one hurt me and I struggled with it.

I love DeSean Jackson but it's hard to deny Devin Thomas' potential.

you said you'd move Safety Bobbie Williams up a little, it doesn't look like you did :(

How hard was it doing the RB rankings with how stacked they are this year?

Players like Justin Forsett, Ryan Torain, Xavier Omen and Allen Patrick are all ranked in the bottom half of the rankings when they could end up being very capable back-ups in the NFL.

I'm amazed Chauncey Washington is your 12th best runningback, Chief. He has all the talent from the neck down only, as a completely one-dimensional player, and he doesn't play anywhere near his potential on a consistent basis imo. He wasn't even worth mentioning at the Senior Bowl, nevermind the best back there (Forsett and Forte), so it's not like the guy gets any points there. Hey, he timed well at the Southern Cal pro day, big whoop imo. I'd rather get a much better football player, many of which are available in comparison to Washington in this year's class.

Ryan Torrain in the 6th would be a great RB for the Colts. He also has very nice hands. =D

What did OG Kerry Brown do to get dropped down the order? I really like him and would love him in the 4th to the Falcons. I could see him being a very good guard in a power scheme down the road

Torain's speed/quickness (or lack thereof) will be a big factor, as the Colts put a lot of stock into measurables (with exception to height). More than people realize, honestly.

He was coming off an injury at the combine and then ran a 4.4 at ASU's Pro Day.

I thought it was 4.53ish? Which was improved from his Combine time when he gave it a go, but if it was in the 4.4 range, that's good for a recovering Torain.

Here is says 4.4: http://www.azcentral.com/members/Blog/jeffmetcalfe/18809

Then again, he isn't using any hundredth second times, but I'm pretty sure he improved it a bit. I honestly believe at the combine who could have ran a 4.45-4.5 if he was completely healthy and able to train in time.

Scott, I was just wondering why you have Chris Williams ranked 2 spots ahead of Gosder Cherilus on you Top 32 overall rankings while you have Cherililus ranked 1 spot ahead of Williams on your OT rankings. Could it be because Cherilus is projected to play RT and Williams could play both?

Also, not sure if Scott plans to adjust the star/round ratings in light of the recent ratings, but I would think Trevor Laws deserves a Round 2 or 3 rating.

Scott, what was your reasoning for having Jarod Mayo over Dan Connor? So far, Other than running a 40 time in 0.10 of a second faster all I see that is better in Mayo. What do you see? Connor has the edge in a lot of categories, more than Mayo would.

As you can see in my overall rankings I have Mayo and Connor back-to-back so it's really splitting hairs. However, Mayo is bigger and faster so I gave him the edge.

Well, he isnt taller than Connor, and putting on more weight doesnt seem like it is much of a problem for Connor to do. I think Connor is more versatile than Mayo is and I think he has better instincts. At least from what I have watched.

Daaang...Malcolm Kelly bumped down to 6th just because of his 40 time? I don't agree with that. Didn't Jerry Rice run low 4.6's like Kelly did? Even with that 40 time I think he is the 2nd best WR behind DeSean Jackson.
