View Full Version : My Internet Usage is Being Restricted!!!

I recently got a letter from my ISP(Rogers) that I can only use 60 GB a month. Every GB over 60 GB will result in an additional $2 on your bill. Then yesterday I got a pop up message saying that I already used 75% of what I am allowed every month. It has only been 8 DAYS!!!! This is an outrage and will complain to them and threaten to find service else where. Did anyone else that uses Rogers as their ISP also recieve a similar letter in the mail?

lol yeah, wtf, i've never even heard of rogers before.

I have unlimited DSL with AT&T and i only pay like 18 bucks a month.

Rogers = Canadian.

I think it's like the biggest ISP there, but I might be wrong.

Rogers is the biggest cellphone carrier in Canada. Didn't know they had internet as well.

I use Comcast for 60 bucks a month [just internet, no TV or phone]. It's comcastic when it works [which is the majority of the time]...

Yeah, I've heard of this strange phenomena known as "Bandwidth Limits" I believe they have that in Australia.

Dear god, 60 bucks for Internet?!

I didn't know it was still 1999.

I pay 60 bucks for my Dish network programming and DSL internet.

that's because, unless you're sharing a connection with everyone in manhattan, DSL is a stinking pile of wasted money. you might as well pick up AOL.

Ouch man, I've got this wonderful provider, unlimited Internet for free, I just buy him a 30 rack every now and then and he doesn't care, I love clueless neighbors. Then again I already spend $133 a month for my phone's unlimited data share, texts and minutes.
