Sean Lee, Penn State, tore his ACL in practice today. That most likely ends his 2008 season, and will probably see him redshirt and return to college in 2009.

Well, now I know who to give to the Bills in my 2010 Mock. :)

Seriously though, what a blow to Penn State!

Well, the guy has a year to recover before the 2009 Draft. With modern medicine nowadays, I wouldn't rule it out. Granted, if he feels he should play a year of college football before going to the pros, then it's up to him.

Yatta!

Wow that sucks. He was looking like the top OLB next year, hopefully he gets back to fitness quickly.

That sucks. I hate the ACL injuries, which can happen to anybody on any play.

(Ask Carson Palmer about that...... that one cheap hit probably cost them the Super Bowl that season as they were better than the Steelers were at that time.
Sorry Bengals fans...... but I had faith in that year's team.)

I liked Lee. I hope he rebounds and can come back early.

Paul Posluszny said to go in the 1st round fall to the 2nd round
Dan Connor said to be 1st round now hes looking like a 2nd rounder
something tells me Sean Lee is going to fall to the 2nd round in 2010
LaVar Arrington Done looks like its going to be a long time till a Penn get a 1st round LB

Huh? The only two players in the NFL in that group are/were pretty damn good players.

D'you forget how nasty Arrington was at one point?

Do you think it's that big of a deal?

Van Alexander (mizzou LB) just tore his ACL and the doctor said he should be ready to go by fall camp.

[sarcasm]sounds like a good prospect for the giants, penn state linebacker, can play all 3 positions, is super athletic, not injury prone, good value where ever we'll pick[sarcasm]

It wasn't a cheap shot, and we weren't going to be stopped.

The fact that it was a non-contact play says it all.

Their Defense was awfull...they wouldn't have won another game in the playoffs if they had beat us

That Bengals squad definitely wasn't going to win the Super Bowl, but it was damn fun to watch. The only team that could have stopped the Colts that year was the Steelers. which they did, playing against the refs and all.

****! It hurts to lose him, but PSU is just always going to have a pretty good defense. Even with Sean Lee out, they will find someone to replace him, and although not as good, should be fine. PSU has a pretty good DL coming back this year, so they should be able to aleviate some of the pressure/targets off of the LB's.

Penn State may well have more recruited talent at LB as anyone in the country.

That said, little experience.

Stinks for them. Sean Lee was on pace to break all of Connor's records.
