Active players are good for the taking. What team can be considered the greatest without Darko anyway?

I'd like to try as long as cdub and saintsfan will be active...

That's the thing I am worried about as well. My idea is have a 2 hour clock and specifically for them, if they aren't there for the 2 hours they will be replaced. The Forum Mock goig on right now just got slowed down by a less than 100 post poster, so let's keep this one going good.

Anyway, we have 8 people, so let's begin!!!!!!

Yeah, it will be a snake draft. I randomized it using the sequence generator on random.org

Maybe I'm confused, but I just don't understand why colleges are associated with players names in an All-Time NBA draft, lol.

Yeah... People just starting using college names, so I just said **** it and let it go. I was thinking of NBA teams because it is not like we are doing an all-time NBA prospect draft, but whatever.

cdub11
04-17-2008, 01:22 PM
how long til the next pick?

thetedginnshow
04-17-2008, 01:39 PM
I don't know. I always do college teams because it makes more sense to me. They only went to one college (or high school in some cases), while most of them played for a couple NBA teams. Plus, if this team were actually being introduced, they'd announce their college or high school, rather than a pro team. Or I'd think. I don't know. I think it sounds cooler too.

WMD
04-17-2008, 01:43 PM
When doing an All Time NBA Draft, I usually just put the team.. if they play for more than one team, put the other ones too.. We're drafting the NBA version of them, not the College version. You have to change your ways, TeddyGinn.

Well then by that logic, I'll expect that next time we do a Current NBA Draft, you'll be posting all the teams a player has played for.

Shane P. Hallam

Perhaps it was a small reach, but you can't tell me he isn't worth a 3rd round pick. I'd take him over any PG left basically in terms of both scoring and passing combined. I think Isiah + Jordan is really great, thus why I picked him over some other PGs that will be taken this round. I think there is one more player that will likely be taken this round that is massively overrated, but we shall see :)

PG, Steve Nash. I needed a pure PG, and Nash is on par with Stockton in just about everything.

He was the best SG on his list. I figured it would be better to round his team off...

Moncrief was pretty damn good for a few years, though.

I select:

Bill Walton C/Blazers

http://walkwithalimp.files.wordpress.com/2007/12/bw.jpg

Walton led his team to an NBA title, numerous Defensive player of the years, and a center that should be able to contend with any in this competition.

I select:

LeBron James SF/Cavaliers

Maybe a bit early, but I think LeBron on the same court as MJ is too much to pass up.
