This kid ran 240 times for 1175 yards, 7 TD's, thats a 4.9 ypc average, keep in mind, this was with minor injuries.
He is entering his sophomore season at U of I, yes, U of I, and he might be the only good think the Vandals have to look forward to for 3 years.

He is small, at 5'9, but do you think he could be the next Ian Johnson for U of I?

If he piled up those numbers with Idaho, he might just be another overlooked recruit who can play very well at the college level.

He beat out Jayson Bird and Brandon Flowers for a job, that in itself is a good note for the kid.

I'm interested to see more, tbh.

I know, I am too, heard he had around 13 carries for around 80 yards, including a 40 yard TD run in the Vandals last spring game. I heard Flowers also had a nice performance.

I have no research on the UI offensive line, is Deonte a product of the line? or is he really a good back?

Next year, if he has 1000+ yards, he will get a ton of respect from the college world.
