will there be one?

Absolutely. Lead pipe lock. IN 2016, when Brady is 39 and dating a super model presently trying on training bras for the first time.

Between Cassel and the rookie? Yes.
Between Brady and... anyone else in the NFL? No.
Brady starts regardless of who is on the roster.
could be all the mannings, C. Palmer and McNabb.
Still no QB controversy.

no offense but this is a stupid question.... the only competition will be O'Connell vs. Cassell and Gutierrez. Cassell might be one of the worst backups in the league, and i really did think they'd address QB at some point in the draft, just not that early

Odds he becomes the backup this season?...Do they think he is the QB of the future?

The staff obviously saw something in O'Connell, but he clearly will be nothing more than a backup barring injury for quite a while. He and Cassell both have all the tools and could develop into great players learning from Brady under BB.

I would disagree about cassle being one of the worst in the league, but cassle and o'connel are compleatly different. If brady goes down, you want cassle in against teams with little to no pass rush and o'connel in during pressure (the giants, ravens...) O'connel is really gonna help the team leading up to the game becasue when the D is preparing, they like to have a mock offense mirroring the upcoming week. O'connel will help the prepare with more mobile qb's
