What is your favorite offensive and defensive pick in each round, not from your own team? If we all included our own teams this would become a homerfest, so lets exclude our favorite teams from this.

I think Jonathan Stewart being listed is a terrible one for round one.
Rashard Mendenhall is better than Stewart is, and perhaps so is Felix Jones.

Good job getting Breno in there for round 5. I hope so, but to tell you the truth, I personally never watched him block at Lousiville... I know nothing about the guy except he's got a temper and will play till after the whistle blows. Sounds like the Giants OL.

If he can teach that team how not to quit there may be hope yet for the cheeseheads :-P

Round One

- Matt Ryan at 3rd Overall to the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta didn't exactly have the best weekend, but Ryan shines through it all. It's not just because Ryan is a good football player, it's because he gives a team without a true identity at this point, a face. Matt Ryan is a high character leader who wil be the perfect poster-boy for the team and city, eventually erasing the shadow Michael Vick has cast. Potential franchise QB, has the chance to be a special player.
Honorable Mention: RB Jonathan Stewart (Carolina: 13th Overall, OT/OG Branden Albert (Kansas City: 15th Overall), OT Duane Brown (Houston: 26th Overall)

-Derrick Harvey at 8th Overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Some bash the pick calling it a reach and claim they sold their entire draft for the guy. Truth is, the Jaguars didn't have many needs coming into the draft. A long, pass-rushing DE with star potential is what they needed, and what they got in Harvey. The guy that fit their exact needs more so than anybody else, a potentially elite pass-rusher from the edge. With Harvey, Groves, Trae Williams, Thomas Williams, Chauncey Washington, they had a nice weekend and could be real Super Bowl contenders this year.
Honorable Mention: DT Sedrick Ellis (New Orleans: 7th Overall), CB Mike Jenkins (Dallas: 25th Overall), DE Kentwan Balmer (San Francisco: 29th Overall)

Round Two

-Devin Thomas at 34th Overall to the Washington Redskins. The best wideout in the draft was an absolute steal here. Thomas may not be productive right away but has legitimate star potential, which should become apparent soon enough. A nice #3 for now, should be able to work his way into that #1 spot in Washington in a couple years.
Honorable Mention: RB Matt Forte (Chicago: 44th Overall), WR Malcolm Kelly (Washington: 51st Overall), QB Chad Henne (Miami: 57th Overall)

- Tyrell Johnson at 43rd Overall to the Minnesota Vikings. Like Thomas, he probably won't be much of a player this year, with Darren Sharper still manning the position there in Minnesota. By 2009 I expect Johnson to be the starter and at a very high level. Could develop into a cornerstone of the Vikings secondary and one of the better Safeties in the league.
Honorable Mention: Phillip Merling (Miami: 32nd Overall), Brandon Flowers (Kansas City: 35th Overall), Quentin Groves (Jacksonville: 52nd Overall)

Third Round

- Mario Manningham at 95th Overall to the New York Giants. A talented player that will be put in a situation to succeed by 2009/2010 where he will battle former USC Trojan Steve Smith for the #2 WR spot to replace Amani Toomer. Since Smith is the better fit in the slot and Manningham on the outside, my money would be on the 3rd Round pick to replace Toomer. Has the chance to develop into a fine player and could be very productive in his career provided he doesn't fail any drug tests. A high-risk, high-reward pick that I expect to pay off in a few years.
Honorable Mention: RB Kevin Smith (Detroit: 64th Overall), WR/PR Early Doucet (Arizona: 81st Overall), OG Chad Rinehart (Washington: 96th Overall)

- Marcus Harrison at 90th Overall to the Chicago Bears.
Harrison has those character problems, enough to push him down the boards roughly a round and a half-two rounds further than he should've been taken. A great talent if Coach Lovie Smith can motivate him and use him the right way. Has the opportunity to be a dominator opposite Tommie Harris. Another risky call on my part, big time boom-or-bust prospect. Still, a good enough value here to raise an eyebrow.
Honorable Mention: OLB Tavares Gooden (Baltimore: 71st Overall), CB/S Reggie Smith (San Francisco: 75th Overall), OLB Phillip Wheeler (Indianapolis: 93rd Overall)

3rd:

Offense: Jamaal Charles, Kansas City
