I understand the meaning of the rule, but I personally think it's very stupid. Now you can't learn about prospects from the people who know them the best.

i know, but i find it funny that people are going after the better recruiters in the nation, its almost like handy capping them.

you can just not face to face now you have to talk to them on the phone.

The whole early recruiting process is pretty funny to me. Read "The Blind Side" the book about Michael Oher for some funny stories about Saban, Orgeron, and some smaller scouts. One guy drove four hours to watch Oher just do the board drill then told the head coach that they would offer him a full scholarship, i think it was to Clemson
