4th-6th, he needs to be in a WCO with a solid running game. His arm is dead, teams don't need to play back with he the QB.

None of the above. I would go with a 6 rounder at best. I really dont think anyone will give up any picks for him. Thats just my opinion.

I guess it'd depend on the team's situation. If they find before pre-season that they desperately need a starter/reliable back-up, I'd imagine he'd warrant a 3rd or so.

Maybe a 5th

He would be ok in a wco in a dome were there's no wind.

Minnesnowdta?

It would have made since, but we just have too many QBs right now. I thought they would have pulled the trigger around February, but nothing ever happened.

6th rounder... wouldnt want him though

You guys think there's a chance the Jets just cut him? If they don't he is definitely not worth a 3rd or a 4th in my opinion. I think a 5th could be to much but a 6th would work I think.

Minnesnowdta?

Definitely not. They are in the same league as GREEN BAY (the frozen tundra) AND CHICAGO (the WINDY city).

5th probably. I don't see much higher than that given his injury history, age, and poor arm strength

The Vikes play in a dome.

I think he meant that they face the Bears and Packers twice a year (not including playoffs) so playing in those weather conditions would be bad for him.

I think he could compete for a starting job in Indy.

Lack of talent with that contract?

I'm not even sure he could get you a 5th.

I voted 5th but I think its probably less than that.

+1

injury-plagued , old QBs with a noodle arm doesnt have great value. the phins gave a 6th for trent green , so i think the same is fair for chad

He is no where near as old as Trent Green. I think Pennington's value is similar to that of Trent Dilfer when he was traded to the Browns. Probably somewhere between a 4th and a 5th.

To be fair (and possibly being a homer) Trent Green was a hell of a lot better than Pennington. Multiple 4,000 seasons in KC with "so so" receivers (except Tony) and he ran the offense well.

I would be surprised if Pennington was the 3rd stringer somewhere next year. I think this could be the last year he's a Jet.

Injury riddled and junk arm ? At best 5th but I wouldnt give you a warm can of coke for him.

I dont see how you could get much for Pennington, QB's are rare when traded and he is so injury prone. I dont see a team really putting up anything for him. Whats the benefit?

Id give a bag of potatoe chips for him.

A jumbo sized bag or a small one?

How about a 7th if anything? I wouldn't take him for anything other than a 7th.

He won't be cut or traded unless the Jets sign another vet qb. We have Clemens, Ainge, him, and Ratliff (practice squad) so we need a somewhat reliable guy.

a 6th and a cup of noodles

a 6th and a cup of noodles

Wow talk about overpaying. Drop the 6th rounder completely. A cup of noodles are u serious? It better be a cup of **** and that still might be to much :D JK. A 6th or 7th rounder would be all and even those would be hard for the Jets to get. Me I wouldn't give a single piece of my hair for Chad. His arms dead, he always gets hurt and in all likely hood If the Jets didnt want him I think getting cut is more likely then getting traded. Teams will wait if they think he is going to get released.

Why is 2nd rd a choice over a 6th rd pick? At least have the options that lean towards where his value is, you could of left 2nd and 3rd rd off, and especially the multiple picks, the Jets would have to rape somebody in negotiations to get multiple picks for him.
