I went on a rainy day in july about 4 years ago. No really new attractions. Average wait time was about a hour. I believe I waited two and a half hours before I got on the riddler. Some of the worst lines i've ever been in.

Which ride?
Goliath, Riddler's Revenge, Scream, X, Tatsu, Batman the Ride, Viper, Deja Vu, Revolution, and Ninja. What kind of wait times should I expect over this spring break?

Atleast a hour for the ones you listed. Goliath and Riddler were the too longest...expect a good 2 hours in line for those 2.

Don't expect to go on more than 8 or 9 rides the whole day. I went there February of last year and the lines got sometimes more than 2 hours. My advice is to get there early when it opens and go on all the rides you wan't to before it gets crowded.

Who been between there on a school day during March-May or Spetember-October? Are the lines shorter? And I've heard attendance is down. Is this also true?

I went to California in May last year, X was just horrible; since there aren't any roller coasters like it in the country, you would be lucky to make it on there. It suffered a malfunction when we went there, so I'm not sure if you are going to get any luck. It looks fun, I wish I could've went on it.
Goliath was insanely long but you'll get on that one if you have the patience.

Magic Mountain definatly went down hill ....the rides are good some of the best rides, but if your willing to stand in hour long lines and be around the most trashiest crowds in all of southern california then you might like going there. I went last summer and what a mistake it was aside from ghetto and trashy crowds and long lines the temp was in the high 90s with a humidity level of around 90% it was horrid. Im sure spring or fall would be much better time to go and one hint of advice dont go on the deja vu to many times after second time i wasnt feeling all well lol.
I used to live like 10 ******s from there, and my advice is don't waste your time. Every single one of those rides is packed during break, and the park itself is really trashy.

I cannot imagine waiting in a line for like 2 hours or more. I love theme parks... in most cases I go to Dorney Park (PA.) or Hershey Park (PA.). Havent been to Disney World since I was little and havent gone to six flags in 10+ years or so. Average wait time at Dorney is like 10 ******s most of the time. :)

Six Flags Magic Mountain is closing anyways so people gotta go now. Anyone know when exactly they'll be closing it down?

Hells yeah.
I can't even go anywhere else anymore. Ever non-Cedar Point ride is just a kiddy ride in comparison.
For those of you that have never gone, go. Every other place is a waste of time in comparison.

Thats just a rumor. Its for sure not true.
I live literally walking distance from the park and like it very much.Spring break will be a mess. The crowd is kind of rough and they dont keep up on maintenance or the cleanliness of the park. But this park is buil for thrill seekers. It has the the best coasters anywhere (17) and the are contructed with the newest technology. It is fun but just dont go expected disneyland.
Wait time is anywhere between 1-4 hours for the lines with X and Tatsu being the longest.

My friend went one time on a school day and there were no lines. He went on Viper 5 times in 15 min and by the end. He threw up after doing that. If you go during sprink break, the lines will be massive. X is pretty cool if u sit in the frount row because you are going straight down and you are lookin straigh down. The ride sucks if you sit anywhere else. Its not worth the wait though.

I clout that, this is definitely cloutworthy.
Good coasters? Yes. Lots of coasters? Yes. For thrill-seekers? Yes. But the best and the "newest technology"? Clout.
X was revolutionary and there isn't anything like it in the world but you can't seriously say that building your generic floorless roller coaster (Scream!) over a parking lot, by the way, is "new" technology. Cedar Point with Millenium Force's original "chain" start is amazing, they did copy off Knotts Berry Farm in the idea for Top Thrill Dragster but it's a different design and concept. Kingda Ka in my parts ripped that off. They have the one coaster that has completely slipped my mind that does the backflip over the midway.
Thats just a rumor. Its for sure not true.

Is it ironic that I used to live in Canyon Country.

My dad is a cop in southern California and has told me that just about every gangster he's ever arrested has a pass to MM.
