Joe Horn: Looking for a Trade (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=rotowire-oeornookingforarade&prov=rotowire&type=fantasy)
Update: Horn and his agent are prepared to ask the Falcons for a trade, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Recommendation: His frustration seems to be rooted in the fact that his on-field role is shrinking, as the Falcons are getting younger at the position. “I know I can still play — and start — but Roddy [White] deserves his chance and Laurent Robinson (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/8329/;_ylt=AmybT37H1IDCOk_0Udh84KwH8sMF) is making plays and he deserves his chance,” Horn said. “When I came here last year I was promised I’d be on the field and it turned out I was a just-in-case guy with the situation that went on. So far this year, it seems like that’s the case again.” General manager Thomas Dimitroff said that Horn is still a part of the team’s future, but given how little he was utilized last season, the Falcons could grant Horn his wish if an interested club offers up a mid-late round draft pick of the team’s liking, rather than simply cutting him if the young receivers are ready to handle the load.
