My favorites are in this order

1. Jeremy Maclin - WR - Missouri - I am being a complete homer here, but I love Maclin. I think he is the most dynamic player in college football and I think we just got a taste of his potential last year. I think he is a better football player than Percy Harvin. Maybe not a better athlete, but a better football player.

2. Michael Oher - OT - Mississippi - He is an absolute beast. He has started 22 straight games at LT in the SEC and has dominated. Huge man with long arms and great strength. I think he is the early favorite to be the #1 pick in the '09 draft.

3. Willie Young - DE/OLB - NC St. - Tremendous athlete who really emerged last season and flashes incredible closing burst and ability to play in space. Love his potential and think he will really break out this season.

4. Everette Brown - DE - Florida St. - Physical Freak that will emerge as the next great FSU defender. I think he has top 10 overall ability and will absolutely dominate this year.

5. Chris Reisert - QB - Ohio Dominican - NAIA prospect who threw for 5400 yards and 54 touchdowns to set almost every single season record at that level last year. At 6'2" - 210lbs with a tremendous arm I think he will get more than a look in the NFL. Might be the best NAIA prospect I have ever seen.

I still have to do some homework on alot of guys, some guys I do know, but I don't dive in until the end of the year, but of the guys I know...

1. Michael Crabtree - All I can do at thsi point is hope he doesn't run an incredibly fast 40 time because if he does there is no way Dallas can trade up for him...Jerry would make him a star....And I think we have a fascination with converted QB's playing WR.

2. Sergio Kindle - I have been excited about him since HS when he was all over the place, RB, Safety, a little of everything, has all the talent in the world to be a monster Will in a 4-3.

Those are just my favorites at the moment...I also am high on Vontae Davis and Taylor Mays, interested in seeing how their workouts go this off-season.

1. Rey Maualuga, LB USC
-Plays like a MANIAC out there. He ain't scared of **** but Jesus! With a full season of starting under his belt, he should be wreaking havoc on a field near you. He'll hit you so hard your girlfriend will feel it.

2. Andre Smith, OT Alabama
-Mammoth Tackle. Absolutely dominant. Straight beast for such a young guy. Was starting as a true freshmen. Should be a top 7 pick come draft day. Excellent athleticism for a guy his size. Would eat your linebacker and your coach's dinner in one swoop if he wanted to.

3. Malcolm Jenkins, CB Ohio State
-Best Corner in the draft, easily top 15 pick if he had gone in this years draft. He showed character and came back. Excellent athleticism and size for position. More of a finesse CB but ain't afraid to make a pop in run support. He picked your brains off and returned them back in time to your mom on your birthing bed.

4. Herman Johnson, OT LSU
-Some may call me a homer on this one but you know what I say? **** YOU! Herman Johnson got my back. You would want to line up against him just as much as you'd like to see him walking towards you in a dark alley, you wouldn't.. Top 10-15. He's poised for a monstrous season this year and WILL be dominant in the trenches.. put that in a sig

5. Nic Harris, S Oklahoma
-IMO, this guy is better than Reggie Smith and Roy Williams. He looks like a linebacker and hits like a truck but he moves like a corner. If your favorite WR is going across the middle and this guy is around.. Pray that he'll remember how to play when he wakes up from the coma. This guy is getting slept on a bit and is truly a top 10 talent. We'll see what he can do without Smith. I'm confident that he won't disappoint.

Good list. I actually have some film on Reisert on the way and am excited to get a good look at him.

I am a big Michael Oher fan as well, he is a virtual lock to be one of the three players on the site's banner when I re-launch for '09 later this summer.

Good to see that you are ahead of almost everyone on Reisert. His accuracy is excellent, completing 69.4% as a junior and 67% for his career. 54TDs vs. 11 INTs last year. Of course he did throw it a ridiculous 46 times per game.

I will be looking forward to your evaluation of him.

Lesean McCoy - because i've been watching him since high school
Vontae Davis - i just think he's a beast
Michael Johnson - just a physical freak that is fun to watch when he's on
DHB - my brother goes to UMD he's been talking about him for a while and he's an impressive athlete
Nate Davis - from ball st., i realize he won't come out and when he does after next year he probably won't be a high pick but i really like his ability and i think he will be successful at the next level

Ryan Perriloux QB Jacksonville State- If not for getting in trouble this guy couldve been the #1 pick in 2010. Great physical tools, as long as he stays healthy he will completely kill the compotition
Kareem Moore CB Nicholls State- Very physical, goes to the same school as me, and there isnt too many cant miss CB prospects out there this year.
Tyson Jackson DE LSU- He has great size and speed, and he is just the middle portion of great DL prospects coming to the NFL from LSU
Pat White QB/WR WVU- I put WR cuz in the NFL he will most likey be a WR
Michael Crabtree WR TT- Im looking forward to seeing if he is a product of the system or if this guy is just a beast

Here are my personal favorite 5 prospects (regardless of where they will end up)

1. LB Rey Melualuga, USC
2. LB Brandon Spikes, Florida
3. S Taylor Mays USC
4. LB James Laurenaitis, Ohio State
5. S Myron Rolle, Florida State

There are other excellent prospects for sure; these are just 5 guys that personally really stand out for me

imho the other positions don't have dominant guys who stand out as much from the other prospects.

SenorGato

Crabtree's a beast...his production is definitely high because of the system he's in...but his physical skills are sick and he's got room to get bigger without losing any speed. He could be a top 5 pick IMO.

Lists are missing Greg Hardy. That guys gonna be a monster.

That is a good call. he only started like 4 games and was first team all SEC. I know when Missouri played them the only guy on the defense that came to play was Hardy. He is a beast. I remember thinking that there was no way he was just a Sophomore.

Don Vito

Greg Hardy's been my favorite guy for this class for a while, he is a tremedous talent along with teammate Mike Oher who I can't wait to watch this year.
