I live in Toronto, Ontario and movies are usually about 10 or 11 dollars. At a silvercity downtown it cost me $11.95 to see Iron Man for a 3:15 showing, which i think is matinee..

Like 9 bucks or something havent been to a movie theater since Live Free Or Die Hard. I just order movies from our cable provider. Right after there done showing in theaters they go on there and cost $4. Got a popcorn popper so the popcorn ownz and whatever drinks I want. Saves like $20 bucks after you buy food there and still get the same thing. Just got to have a nice couch, nice big TV and surround sound.

I am in Ottawa Ontario and if you were smat you would go to Cineplex Odeon on Tuesdays where tickets are 4.50 for just the ticket and 9.50 for ticket, regular popcorn and drink. Save a hell of a lot of money. If I do not do that I pay for one movie and I see 3. I try to pay for only movies I think will be good and not pay for lesser movies. The only movie I have paid full price for in the past year is There Will Be Blood.

too much? With the dollar at it's current rate the normal price around here is about 12 dollars, 8 with student ID. Popcorn and all that will cost about 7 dollar... I think. It's all in euros 'round here...

$8.50 for an adult ticket generally.

As a student, I think I pay $7.50 or something . . .

It's the concession prices that tick me off more. $45 dollars for a popcorn is pushing it.

having worked a movie theater, I have to recommend that you never touch food from a theater. also, why would buy food at the theater?

Movie prices are pricy at my nearest cinema. I think a student ticket is like $12.50 but if you go on tight ass tuesday it's cheaper.

kalbears13

$11.50...

But there's a theater nearby that plays movies like 2 weeks after they come out and it's only like $1.00.

$9.50 with a $7.50 matinee. It's crazy anymore, when the theatre was first starting out a few years ago, it only cost $4.25 and the matinee was 3 something.
