Drafted Davon Hardin with Pick #45

Comments
Boring... Just went the classic Spurs route and stayed put with the main cogs and pieces. But added some much needed size and youth to the bench. The Aaron Gray trade pretty much gave a BIG man who can contribute when given the chance. Not spectacular by any stretch of the imagination, but a guy who can hold down the Center position pretty well, and probably be more productive and see more time then anyone else I could drafted at pick #57. The Mario Chalmers pick was an easy one. Aside from his experience, Jacque Vaughn isn't exactly an ideal backup. Chalmers adds some much needed youth and offense from that position, and could end up being a a real nice player under the Spurs coaching staff. The Davon Hardin pick wasn't really needed, seeing that have a log jam of big men as it is. But again another young guy off the bench who can develop.

Didn't you draft OJ Mayo? He's training real hard at Tim Grover's A.T.T.A.C.K. facilities at honing down his PG skills since that is where he expects to play in the NBA.

Yeah, I did. I am just not sold on his PG abilities yet. I just want a reliable guy who's going to start the offense until Mayo gets his feet under him.
