PG OJ Mayo, USC

I got tired of waiting.

The draft class isn't any good outside of the top 2, and Mayo has awesome talent. The baggage is a concern, but we'll deal with it. He can pair with Jefferson and Foye to give us 3 legit scoring options.

Golden State Warriors are very proud to select D.J. Augustine PG, Texas

http://www.bestofneworleans.com/dispatch/2007-08-28/news_feat-1.jpg

We could have gone two ways here. Get the athletic big in DeAndre Jordan, or get the star PG who resembles his game like Nash. We decided to take Augustine to fill the void of Baron. Unlike Baron, Augustine is a pass first PG with great leadership and he can also lead an offense very well. We have a great young nucleus of players now with Augustine, Monta Ellis, Boris Diaw, Brandan Wright, and Andris Biedrins to go along with newly acquired
Hedo Turkoglu and good bench player Louis Williams.

From Orange to Orange, A Marion type of forward, we have all seen what he can do on a good night, all year he was talked about as a lottery pick and he most definitely has the skill set, now we just need to get some consistency.

New Jersey Nets select:

Chase Budinger, Arizona SG/SF

http://media.collegepublisher.com/media/paper997/stills/7nfywwi8.jpg

An excellent scorer who can come in right away and contribute. His athleticism combined with his shot are great. His main weakness is defense, but that will come with more time and he'll get nice looks from Harris.

Incredible athlete here. Rudy Cool-esque. Imagine him getting bigger(about 15 lbs worth) in France and coming over here to run with Chase, Devin and Harrington with Boozer snagging all the boards? His shot is improving steadily and he's just a player. Has that knack, that vision, and ability to improve those around him. He'll improve over in France for a year or 2, then come and be a force in New Jersey if he pans out

The Suns have needed a high energy defensive big man for a long time, Marion used to play this role but he was undersized and would get pushed around inside, Lopez is a great compliment to Stat and even this year should bring some good D off the bench(no more 7 man rotations)

The Orlando Magic select...

Marreese Speights, PF Florida

http://images.townnews.com/alligator.org/content/articles/2008/04/04/sports/basketball/080404_hoops.jpg

It was a tought choice between him and a couple other bigs, but I believe he is the best fit next to Dwight. Also, I feel like he has the best mix of ability to play now and potential in the future. If he would've been more consistent, which was his biggest knock, I feel like he would've been a top 10 pick.

Kosta Koufos, PF, Ohio State
http://i.a.cnn.net/si/2007/writers/kevin_armstrong/11/22/kosta.koufus/p1_koufos1.jpg

To be honest, I hate him and I hate him for abandoning Ohio State. I also saw him once unloading his bags back to his dorm after Spring Break. But that's not the point. He's more talented than a good deal of the people already selected, and he has a lot of growth potential. We already have a potential star at the PF position, but Koufos would be a hell of a player off the bench and he really adds to our length. He should be a fantastic addition.
