It was probably like some sort of keygen, you entered something and it gave you a set of numbers, prolly does not always work, but the program should be findable, since I doubt they made it.
I've found similar programs and from everything I've read they're all scams.

He's right though. I bought Halo maps and played them less than a handful of times until they were free because no one had them. Complete waste unless you play split screen a lot, I guess.

I'm really digging the new Halo maps. Although I'm running into people in DLC objective using the "I don't know this map" excuse.

Not playing defense on objective? I don't know this map.

Let the other team simultaneously have the hornet, banshee, wraith AND scorpion? I don't know this map.

Not going to your home base and carrying a flag the one foot necessary to score? I don't know this map.

Go foward in the scorpion when you are being warned to fall back because you have enemies approaching on all sides? I don't know this map.

Walked right in front of a wraith blast that you were warned was right in front of you? I don't know this map. And where the heck is right in front of me?

It's not hard to see a vehicle and understand the terrain of a map, but I still don't know where a lot of weapons are on certain maps and I'm too lazy to look them up offline.

OHhh they told you in the FAQ and stuff that make up a few fake e-mails and do the same surveys or things that ask for e-mails only with those 2 or 3 e-mail address. All the survey sites want is diffrent e-mail addresss and some of them are free magazine no card required. I made up some names and stuff and i used my college apt address. I don't plan on living here next semster.

They just mentioned on XPlay that there will be a more indepth and emotional narrative and storyline in the game. Which is fine I guess, just don't make it corny and put in a whole bunch of cut scenes.

Some interesting screens....I like, though. I'm actually glad to hear they are strengthening up the storyline in campaign mode. The 1st game was great and all but, the storyline was def. lacking. It was still amazingly fun but, it is very nice to see them putting a lot more work into the campaign.

This is easily the game I am looking forward to the most in 08. Gears of War is my favourite game on the 360 and I can only hope 2 is equal or better than the first one.

It's basically the same thing as team slayer. We wouldn't have to worry though because you're level 1, meaning we would probably play people in the 20's. I would wreck them all.

I didn't think it was too hard. I finished Gears on all three difficulties. It was definitely a great game.

Forgot to mention those of you looking forward to Bourne Game. I played the demo it ehhhh. The Demo didn't come out yet, I played three missions they had this Best Buy booth set up on our campus. It was spring fling, so i tried it out. Its okay, to many cut sences, like while you are fighting they have this thing called bullet time or bourne move idk. Well you know how Jason does some crazy **** well you do that but it goes to a cut scene and push one button Different everytime. And then it does something without you having to do much. Shooting is okay you can take cover blind fire aim and have free aim. Get to carry 2 weapons, but sometimes if you come to close to an enemey you go right into fight mode.

In a driving scene same thing drive around like a racing game in order to do cool ****, you go into cut scene it asks you to push a botton (timing is everything) sometimes a combination like 2 or 3. And then that cut scene becomes something.

In fighting it gets kind of boring, its just pushing x and y as much as you can. It gets pointless, the boss is a little tough have to block and can't keep mashing on buttons.

Well, it all depends on if your gonna DL alot cause then you might want an elite. I recommend a wireless controller, rechargeable battery and a charger such as the Plug and play. As for games its all about what you like. Personally i think Gears Of Wars, Call Of Duty 4, Mass Effect, Rockband, Grand Theft Auto IV and Oblivion are cant misses

I hardly ever sniped in the first one. The only time I remember would be against those 4 Boomers, where they just stood in the emergence hole. And you didn't have to snipe General Raam to beat him, you could easily reach that big ass gun in the back of the train and blast him that way.

That's not a huge problem for me. I mean at the risk of sounding cliche, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Plus looks like they added the ability to use the enemies as shields, and break there neck when finish. Plus the dual chainsaw battle looks pretty epic. And this was the first gameplay demo, so we'll probably see more at E3.

The whole 'if it aint broke, dont fix it' works for me only sometimes. Not too much for first person shooters. I want to see some change and a reason for which I shelled out $60. A same core gameplay with a change of environment and maybe some small mechanisms is good enough for me to change.

With GOW2 its the same gameplay (which is great. I LOVED the gameplay) but the environment is so similar. I guess its just a pet peeve of mine.

Because I didn't play it much, when I did, I didn't have any decent weapons that I didn't pick up off the ground and I had a fairly bad experience that caused me to just give up. Emptying two clips into someone running at me in a straight line, I got knifed by said person.

Considering it took him so long to run towards me that I was able to fire off that many rounds (again, in a straight line), after the first clip, it occured to me that there is either something here I'm not getting or I need to stop playing CoD4.

So, since then, I've been busy stealing flags on avalanche and planting bombs on ghost town (the new Halo maps).

i love MUA but your team is hurting...me and crickett have talked about this at length, and while we disagree, my ideal team is

Deadpool- hes the best character in the game, hands down. hes got health regen and his dual shot is unstoppable at high levels. Hes got teleportation and the best extreme attack in the game

Captain America is solid i use him alot because hes strike based, does alot of damage, and has good attacks

ghost rider is also pretty intense, i use him a fair bit. Other options include iron man, human torch, and wolverine.

Human Torch: Flamethrower is ridiculously overpowered. Moreso because its the power move that the Torch starts off with. Some of his other attacks are pretty good but..... just max his default flamthrower and he's one of the most powerful characters you can use.

Moon Knight: Crank up Nunchuck and you can plow through people like you were the Juggernaut. Also, his special attack with the moon crescents that bounce off the walls can take a boss' health down between a quarter and a half by itself so long as you're in an inclosed area.

Blade: I don't know why his attacks are so powerful. Maybe because of the movie franchise.

Silver Surfer. I think took Thor, reskinned him as the Silver Surfer and made all of the power attacks more powerful and different looking i.e. same attack, looks slightly different and does more damage.

Colossus: Its just fun to grab people and use them as melee weapons. I know the Hulk does this too, but he is a DLC character and Colossus did it first.

And honorable mention: Nick Fury. The autoaim machine pistol (I think I got that right) and the sniper rifle is Nick Fury's version of the noob combo.

I never got into COD4 on-line. When I played it, my team had absolutely no teamwork whatsoever (I phrase it as: A bunch of chickens with their heads cut off). Because I didn't play it much, when I did, I didn't have any decent weapons that I didn't pick up off the ground and I had a fairly bad experience that caused me to just give up. Emptying two clips into someone running at me in a straight line, I got knifed by said person.

Considering it took him so long to run towards me that I was able to fire off that many rounds (again, in a straight line), after the first clip, it occured to me that there is either something here I'm not getting or I need to stop playing CoD4.

So, since then, I've been busy stealing flags on avalanche and planting bombs on ghost town (the new Halo maps).

You don't really have to unlock weapons...M16 is the best gun in the game and I use stopping power and steady aim as perks on almost every setup.

Oh god, it's terrible. I do like what they were trying to do w/ the story line, though. During the career mode, it's kind of like that show beyond the glory. They have interviews with real people...former trainers, opponents, promoters, child hood friends, ex girl friends. It's like a biographical documentary tv show, chronicalling your rise to fame and glory. That was a pretty sweet idea but, nothing can make up for the games horrid gameplay. The controls are very difficult and nothing is responsive and the animations are garbage.

Well, I'm going to change my opinion on this now after playing for a while.

It certainly isnt anything special and in comparison to Fight Night, it's garbage...but, it has grown on me a bit. Once you actually get some hand speed, it becomes a little more fun. The storyline is good, I'll give it that. In one fight you have fight w/ two broken fingers and you need to wait for those fingers to numb up before you can start throwing the right like a rock hard club. Then in another fight, some dude puts some unknown substance on his gloves and you have to fight blind for two rounds. Scenes right out of Rocky Balboa and Ali. (that really happened, though) But, yeah that part is pretty sweet. The graphics arent much better than a newer xbox game but, the arena's look nice I suppose. The animations are also terrible...what boxer doesnt fear the dreaded knock out punch to the shoulder or elbow? Rounds are only a minute and a half and it's kind of arcady but, it's nice to have some fights actually go the distance.

I'd say rent it and give it a chance. At first, I hated it but, like i said, it grew on me a bit. All the professional reviewers are killing the game and i can def. see where they are coming from but, I've actually begun to like it. I wouldnt buy it, though.

I do have to add, that this can be a bit of a button masher game...my thumb and wrist feel terrible right now. I may have carpal tunnel, this hurts so bad to type. dammit.

The game is very similar aside from a couple of different ways to "level up" and the different maps. If you plan on playing on Xbox Live, I would get Vegas 2 just because more people play that. But if you do not plan on taking it online I'd get Vegas 1 because its probably less than half the price. Either way its a great game and if you liked the old xbox ones you'll like these. The most realistic tactical shooter I've played.

Never tried Gamestop, but I'll rent a game for blockbuster and it cost $7.99 to rent it for a week, but you can keep it for another 37 days for $1.25 as long as you remember to return it by the deadline. I do that with a lot of games.

I figured this is the best place to post this. I sent my xbox into microsoft to get fixed. Today it arrived and i was overjoyed like a kid on christmas morning only to find out he got socks and things he didnt want. Got everything plugged in and when i turned it on i got the green lights but within the blink of an eye i got the killer 3 red lights, i wish someone just jumped out and stabbed me. My question is does anyone have another number i could call to where i dont have to deal with the outsourced indian named "John" working for 2.00 an hour and could give a **** less. Has anyone experienced with multiple failures? It is a load of ******** all they do is send you back a one that was once broken, whats to stop it from breaking again?

Try unplugging and re-plugging your cords. If that don't work, you pretty much have no other choice but to send it back in.

When did you get your 360? I have never had a problem with my 360 (knock on wood) and I got it when Gears of War came out. The only issues I've had are a few freezes (that's you Madden load screen) and unreadable disc errors, but nothing serious.

The Wii's not awful IMO, it's just that the majority of the games are. I'm keeping mine because of some great Mario games (Kart, Smash, Galaxy) and other good ones such as Zelda, Zack and Wiki (it's good lol) and No More Heroes, all Nintendo exclusives.

It is nice to have a 360 now though. Can't wait for Resident Evil 5 and Gears of War 2.

Mario Kart Wii sucks. You are honestly better off just buying Mario Kart 64 from the VC. Galaxy is a kickass game along with Zelda (Havent played it) and Smash is good (I think Melee is better though). But other than those and a couple of other games (No more heroes, Zack and Wiki) what do you have? Absolute ****.

With the 360 and PS3 you have great franchises like Final Fantasy, GTA, Halo, MGS, Gears of War, Call of Duty, etc.

I guess for gys like us it sucks. Its not a bad system to have at home. Keeps the kids entertained.

i have 2 systems and in the same month i had my 360,ps3, and my pc all hit the crapper. I sent my 360 last week hope it doesnt take too long but it wouldnt play any games anymore kept on saying dirty disc with every game i had. Here's the ratings for NHL 09 in case anyone is interested. Pretty horrible IMO just looking at a few teams.

The 1st two teams I looked at were Toronto and Detroit. Many Detroit players got shafted in their ratings while a bunch of Toronto players are way overated.

Just one comparison to point out how bad they are: Jiri Tlutsy is ranked 3 points higher than Johan Franzen. Laughable

Quick question, once again.

How can you save NCAA draft classes in dynasty? I went through a year with Mizzou and it never asked. I am doing another year with Georgia so I want to be prepared. Especially cause I have Madden. I wanna get a Falcons dynasty rolling.

After the season when you go to the players leaving thing in the offseason menu it will ask you if you want to export to the team for madden.

Yea just be ready for the 'players leaving' screen to come up, when you go in there you push Y or X to save the export the draft class and save, just read the bottom of the screen so you don't advance and miss it, good thing to do is to save immediately when you go into off-season, then if you noticed you passed it again just go back and load.


I already have about 5 draft classes saved up, always like to go into franchise mode with a few years so I can continue playing with some of my best recruits.

This was a big problem for me last year, at least before I sold that worthless Madden disc. I would want to export another class to play another season of franchise mode, except I would have to go through recruiting which takes forever when you're a perfectionist. To make a long story short, it took the fun out of playing because I wasn't doing what I wanted to.

On another non-sports note....what games are you guys thinking of buying this fall besides the yearly EA crap.

I'm not that impressed with a lot of the games that will be coming out this fall...only thing that looks good out there, imo are the sequels. My short list would be...

Gears of War 2
NHL 09
Saints Row 2
Fable 2

I'm still going to be waiting quite a while for the two games i want the most...Alan Wake and Prototype.

You are misreading the ratings. The overall ratings are not listed there. The first ratings shown for players are Offensive Awareness, not Overall. I think that is what you are looking at since Tlutsy is 3 points higher than Franzen in Offensive Awareness. I know this isn't how overall rating is determine, but if you add up all the attributes Franzen's total is higher than Tlutsy's.
