Here's a quick and easy way to speed up your browser. I just did it and it works a lot better.

This should only be used if you use decent cable for your internet otherwise you won't get any benefit.

1-Type "about:config" in the address bar and press return
2- Find "network.http.pipelining" and set to true
3- Find "network.http.proxy.pipelining" and set to true
4- Find "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" and set to 8
5- Right click anywhere and select New -> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to 0.

all you are doing is changing the number of times that your browser sends a request for data to the site you are accessing

There are WAY more little changes you can do in the firefox config mode to speed firefox up. I've done all of them that I know of. Just google firefox speed tweaks and you should find some more.

My firefox works pretty fast already but I might dig this up someday if it slows down.
