what a lot of media doesn't realize is the bengals are just now verging on the end of building this defense. Leon Hall, JJ, Duke Nukem, Marvin White, Keith Rivers, Ahmad Brooks, Peko, Pat Sims, Geathers and Antwan Odom are the hopeful starters of this team in the future. I'm sure not all of them will work out the way we want, but surely there will be more leaders to develop out of the whole bunch of them than just Keith Rivers.

If Keith Rivers is our only shot for this defense then Marvin Lewis needs to be fired right now for putting all of our eggs in one basket.

The media (espn) will do what it can to make the Bengals seem like the worst franchise ever.
Just look at how they oogle and work one off to Manny hitting 500 and give Griffey a mild brush by on sportscenter.
Griffey hitting 600 should be more important than Bonds hitting 700 because Griff never had the controversy over steroids and played it fair.

Keith Rivers should establish himself as a top WLB in 2-3 years I think. He has alot of the tools you look for in a good LB. Hopefully you guys can build up that DL and have Joseph and Hall do a good job against WRs.
