To be honest I think he's been a bit of a disappointment so far. His play last year was inconsistent, but I'd like to see if his play improves with Faine at center. It seemed like there were times last year that he was forced to try and do too much because of Wade.

But, I expected him to be better. I thought Sears was much better last year.

I don't think I'd classify Joseph as looking good, at least not consistently.

Joseph is one of the more promising guards in the entire NFL. He should be able to occupy RG for years to come.

You could argue that Joseph isn't the most promising guard on the Bucs roster, the way Sears played last year.

That is definitely arguable. The Buccaneers are extremely lucky to have two of the best up and coming guards in the league.

It is encouraging to have some young guys on the o-line that you can actually be optimistic about. Big departure from the last 15 years or so.

i should make another thread but didnt feel like it, i have a question do o-linemen block different for different backs (power and speedy) or they just block the same?

Well logically they have to. For speed backs the lineman need to execute their block earlier than if they were blocking for a slower, power back.

Not sure about the oline, but I remember an interview with some RB a long time ago who said it took a while to get used to the blockers in front of you and build some chemestry. That statement makes me believe its more about the RB changing his style to suit the blockers than the other way around. I'm sure its a bit of both though.
