interesting packers draft. interesting first round. but second round will be either a running back safety or tight end. most likely running back.

I kinda forgot They didn't get Lynch in round 1. Got so used to that pick. Maybe Kenny Irons there?

Amazing pick for the Colts!! Love to have Lawrence Timmons on the team.

As for the Titans, they would not pass up Reggie Nelson.

I like the Saints picks, Olsen would be a great addition to our offense, he would be one of the few offensive players that the Saints would consider in the fist round and CB in the 2nd is a a must if we go offense, will probably go LB or DL in the 3rd

although I am not sure that we take Olsen with Puz and Timmons both on the board

Carriker = Great.
McCauley = Wrong.

I think the niners would go with Eric Weddle in this scenario.

I like the Bills picks, if Willis indeed gets traded I'll be rooting for Lynch aswell.

I think he has to be the pick if Willis gets traded. I also think the fact the Bills have a legitimate shot at Lynch is why they are willing to trade him. Do you agree the two probably have a direct corilation?

Good Redskins pick, but why do you have Branch listed at DT/DE? The guy's defiantly a DT.

good cowboys draft but personally I prefer Beekman over Ramirez and Nelson over Merriweather

The picks for the Vikes are alright...however the top DE in the draft doesn't get passed on by us. I don't care if we've taken 34 straight DE's in round 1...if they have no talent you don't refuse to go back there..you hire different personel / scouts and get better DE's in there. It's like if you bought a car and it was a total lemon, you don't just take the bus and say "we're giong in a different direction" you scrap the car and get another one.

...also passing on Quinn isn't very realistic either. Landry is good but finding a FS is much easier than finding a franchise QB ...and T-jackson and B.Bollilnger are NOT franchise QB's.

As with your other draft I couldnt see the Bears passing up on Timmons. Also, if they draft OL i think they will grab Staley rather then grubbs. I think Griffin would also be a nice pick. I would rather they pick those three at needs then Grubbs.

very poor giants mock
kalil is very good but C is not our biggest need, especially with 2 of the best defensive prospects on the board in nelson and timmons- give us timmons 1st and either josh wilson or manny ramirez 2nd

Okoye is possible, but I personally don't like it. That said, I cannot discount the possibility. Piscatelli is a bad pick though. The Falcons need a rangy, Free Safety, type if they go that route.

To add on to what Shiver said, I think Weddle would be a really good pick. I am really obsessed with that guy.

I disagree, great pick for the Titans Meachem is a steal there. But i would rather take a DE in the second.

Kiwanuka wasn't the biggest need last year. The Giants are a team that realizes the draft effect the team well beyond just next year. I wrote about this in the draft forum under the draft theory thread if you'ld like to take a look. Kalil has been called the best technician of all OL prospects in the draft. I know OL is a need and Kalil can play any of the 3 interior line spots. I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong, just trying to exp;ain my thought process.

stanton to the lions in the second isn't really realistic at this point giving them griffin or ross would make a much better draft for them

Stanton's a guy with francise QB potential. He will be an incredible value for any team that grabs him beyond round one. The guy entered the season touted as a possible top 5 pick and almost certain top 15 based off his junior season. He had a sub-par inconsistant season so he dropped. He has bounced back quite a bit haveing good performances at both the Senior Bowl and Scouting Combine. If he were to pan out he would save the Lions from spending one of their top 5 picks in any of the next 3 drafts on a QB.

If Griffin is there for the Bears they will grab him because Angelo has said that safety is his biggest concern, and Joe Newton is a big reach the best OL or DT would be better.

Not the best Eagles picks. We would go Griffin and then Abiamiri.
