The lack of the greatest cartoon movie ever. Fox and the Hound.

This list sucks.

The Incredibles was way overrated. Shouldn't even be top 10 IMO.

Toy Story and Shrek should easily be the top 2. Lion King was a tear jerker as a kid, so i don't remember much of it lol.

Still, to this day, i've never seen Finding Nemo.

Shrek is so ridiculously overrated it's unbelievable. I like the movie but it's not even close to the best animated movie ever. This list is severely lacking The Iron Giant, which is easily a top 10 animated movie ever.

Also, Ice Age 2 and not Toy Story 2? Are you flipping kidding me?

I happened to love the humor in it. Eddie Murphy was gold.

Everyone that has not seen Finding Nemo, raiderz4life does not know what he is talking about. Finding Nemo is greatness. Watch it twice. Once in a normal state of mind, then in a different state of mind, if ya follow.

Toy Story 2 was not that great the original was bomb.... Ice Age was hilarious.....they also forgot Madagascar.

It's just that the movie is basically a cliche fairy tale story with way too many pop cultural things thrown in. I just don't think it touches movies like Princess Monoke, Spirited Away, Beauty and the Beast, The Iron Giant, and any Pixar movie (sans Cars).

Ive seen seen it in 3 modes and everyone blowed for me.....Cars, Madagascar, and even Happy Feet blow it out of the water and if you wanna watch a fish movie Shark Tale was hilarious too.

I'm sorry but that is false information. Happy Feet was good as hell. But the turtles alone in Finding Nemo make it better than any one of those you listed.

IMO The Lion King,Aladdin and Toy Story are all classic.

Monsters, Inc. was pretty good but my niece watched it every day for like a year so I can't even stand to think about watching it ever.

Agreed on the Akira.

But really. Spirited away was the best movie of 2003, animated or not, and is by far the best one on the list.

Same with Princess Mononoke and Howl's Moving Castle.

Because it's poop.

Yeah, the Simpson's movie shouldn't even scratch the top-50 greatest animated films of all-time. It was funny, but not anything special.

There are so many movies missing due to it being Yahoo users who voted.

Here are my top-5 snubs of this list:

1. Fantastia

A compilation of some of the greatest cartoons to date. Not only do they match the classical music brilliantly with each cartoon's storyline, but the visuals are superb. Two that have always stood out to me are the Sorcerer's Apprentice and Dance of the Hours (Who doesn't love a hippo dancing with an Elephant?).

2. Alice in Wonderland

How movies like Shrek 2, the Simpson's Movie and Over the Hedge can make it over Alice in Wonderland is a tragedy. Walt Disney did a fantastic job translating two of the strangest books ever written onto the screen for all of us to enjoy. Forget about the drug references or a caterpillar smoking hookah, this film stands on its own thanks to great vocal performances and some trendy visuals.

3. A Charlie Brown Christmas

For me, this was a must-see almost every Christmas. Who doesn't relate to Charlie Brown who always feels like other people are happy while he is constantly in a state of melancholy. Yeah, there might be some Christian themes in the movie, but I think every can agree that it is one of those movies that you can watch time and again and still come out smiling.

4. Space Jam

So, I wouldn't normally put this film on this list, but if you include Enchanted, then of course Space Jam has to be mentioned. Michael Jordan, Bill Murray and Looney Toons characters create the perfect comedic trio. Include some of the other great basketball players of the mid-90s and you have a classic on your hands.

5. Heavy Metal

If anyone has seen the recent season of South Park, they would have a glimpse of this 1980s animated film that has one of the finest soundtracks in any movie, regardless of animation. You can watch this film a dozen times and still not be sure of what is really going on, but there is one thing you can count on in this film: Blood and Boobs.

Yours truly,

Turtlepower

1. Robin Hood

My favorite movie as a kid. Absolutely loved this movie. I tore that VHS to pieces with this thing on replay.

2. Lion King

Self-explanatory.

Finding Nemo ahead of Lion King is a straight up crock of ****. I liked Monsters Inc. a lot too.

I really can't argue with Finding Nemo at #1, Will Smith did a great job, so did the supporting actors, but I've seen some other good ones, Cars, Shrek, those were both pretty damn good...Lion King is still the classic though.

Will Smith was in Shark Tale, not Finding Nemo.

And since I didn't realize Enchanted was on here earlier, Space Jam should totally be up there with Toy Story.
