Follow your local team. We don't need anymore B's fans. Then again I'm biased. :)

Go with ATL, you get to watch them when ever they play and you can goto their games. It just more of a benefit for you.

Go with Atlanta, Ilya Kovalchuk will win you over in a second. Plus Zach Bogosian is super studly.
Also, Boston plays a pretty boring style of hockey.

Avalanche.

Agreed, go with the Avs. I'm an Avs fan living in Wisconsin so location doesn't really matter imo.

Why don't you start watching games and decide for yourself who you like?

Ha, a picture of somebody (a Bruin) getting hit by Mike Ryan? I didn't think he had it in him.

I'd follow the Thrashers.
You can watch all the games, attend games, and pay closer attention.

You'd become more of a fan with a team you can consistently watch.

Montreal Canadiens, because their fans rioted in Montreal after the first round of the playoffs.

I'm gonna be honest with ya'll, i've never in my life watched hockey, and the game 5 between Detroit and Pittsburgh, i think, won me over. The excitement was crazy, and i even went and bought a hockey game. It's sweet.

This happened a few years ago with Nascar. I watched the Daytona 500 that Kevin Harvick beat out Mark Martin by inches, and i've been a fan since.

I know jack about the teams though, so i too, would like to be informed on what teams are "cool" and "hip". Okay, just kidding, but i like to root for the teams with young talent, so for those that know, which teams are those?

Metsox, what team are you a fan of?

I don't have a team, seeing as that i've never actually sat down to watch a hockey game before seeing the last two games of the Stanley Cup this year.

Boston. Atlanta is going nowhere, not to mention Boston is probably more exciting to watch...especially if you love hockey fights and man-giants.

Actually, I think Wisconsin would be a good place for an NHL team. I'm pretty sure they already have a large support for their college hockey team, and I haven't checked attendence figures for the AHL in awhile but I think Milwaukee was top 10 in attendence. It's definitely better than Kansas City or any other southern state/city.

Blackhawks baby... Kane and Toews will own the league for many years to come.

Atlanta will never be any good. And they have the worst jersey's in the league. At least Boston was good a while back . . .

Go with the B's.
