View Full Version : Any chance Rudy Burgess returns punts or kickoffs?

After reading this, I feel this is why BP was hinting that Garcon would be better off polishing his WR skills when we thought he may be used for KR duties, maybe BP felt Rudy Burgess could be challenging T.J.Rushing for the KR role.

Besides, the Colts do not have many WRs who you can say "Peyton will chuck the ball as long as he can, just go and get it" like a Randy Moss or Chad Johnson, maybe Garcon could be the post route threat we have been waiting for to groom. Maybe Marvin in his heyday, once he got a step, he stayed ahead, but not so much now.

Your thoughts?

At ASU, he was primarily a KR and didn't see much time as a PR. He has explosive quickness and was definitely a huge plus as a KR.

Here is him returning a kick against USC for a TD:
