I don't think this has been posted yet. It's Gil Brandt's take on the top available seniors for the 2009 draft. Keep in mind that the order is merely alphabetical.

This ius really a weak class fork senior for QBs. I realluym don't loike ny of them. Cantwell has the bset shot in my opinio n. As far as WRs go. Byrd looks to be a cery good one. I like the potential there. Sorry, I'm a wee bit drink.

From a Ducks perspective, his glaring omission is Patrick Chung. Swap out Nick Reed for Chung or LT Fenuki Tupou or RB Jeremiah Johnson or even WR Jaison Williams and it would look much more accurate. Reed just isn't big enough to play end in the NFL. Not sure what kind of LB prospect he'd make, but no way in hell is he an NFL end. Never will be.

But like he said, a lot can change in 12? (I think he means 6, 10 max) months. There are quite a few guys missing who will be on that list by midseason.

I really like Painter as a prospect.

Well he is like the 3rd or 4th best senior safety prospect after William Moore, Patrick Chung, and Michael Hamlin.

Safety isn't a position that usually carries too many "top" prospects

Courtney Greene is a early 2nd round prospect right now IMO. He is really good, an play SS or FS.

I like Painter a lot too. His stock will depend, at least in part, on what Tebow and Stafford do. As a Bears fan I'll be keeping a close eye on him this year though.

On that note, where is Cullen Harper? You've got John Parker Wilson on there but not him? No way. I'd put Boeckman and Harper over Wilson and White easily.
