It is going to be so weird not hearing Tagliabue's melo voice announcing the 1st pick of the draft.

Yea. Its gonna be so awkward when I go in April and not have the first picture of Tagliabue announcing the first pick instead.. Goodell.

not that big of a deal, everyone willl get used to it
I love Tag, most of my fondest memories of the draft all involve Tagilabue up there announcing those picks so smoothly.

I loved Tag's "Uh" all the time
Ex: With the second pick in the 2007 NFL draft the Detroit "uhh" Lions select.. (whoever)
he always did that for every team. I'm going to miss it.

True, although you don't know if Goodell won't do the same.

Never really thought about that. I think the comish only does Day 1, and some other guy does it on Day 2.

Actually, the commish just does the first round.

Oh. I was just trying to remember who announced that the Broncos had drafted Maurice Clarett. I wasn't sure if it was Tag or someone else.

Won't make any difference to me. I could care less who it is as long as its not David Stern.

Was this unexpected? I dont understand why this is news.
Since when is it supposed to be news? This thread is to discuss about how it'll be strange seeing someone else announcing the draft picks.
