Ok so the Cookie vs Brownies thread got me thinking. chime in with your thoughts on this one. Im going with Deep dish. You can add more stuff and your pie wont fall apart.

It depends on where I order from. Pizza Hut Deep Dish is a must but I also love Papa Johns hand tossed.

Hand tossed for me, I never understood the deep dish appeal

I've never even had deep dish so I'll go with hand tossed.

I am a NY boy so I prefer the nice thin, crispy NY style crust. However, I do like me some deep dish every now and then.

Chicago Deep Dish is the greatest pizza ever invented and nothing can come close.
Also, Lou Malnati's > Gino's East

Speaking as someone who used to hand-toss pizza for a living, it has to be that.

Deep dish no doubt, real men don't eat cardboard with Mozzarella.

Pans are meant to be baked in, not for pizza.

Pan Pizza is closer to cheesy bread than to authentic pizza.

no, it's not

pan pizza = deep dish pizza...thick crust, TONS of sauce, not really that much cheese

But mostly bread.

no, mostly sauce with a thick crust...no offense, I've worked in a pizza place for 3 years in Chicago (well suburbs but you get my point), so I think I know what I'm talking about...it's like 50% sauce, 30-40% crust, 10% cheese and ingredients

Deep dish by far. Thin crust fails.

I love the stuffed crust too but the problem is when I get stuffed crust the actual pizza doesn't taste as good for some reason, so I rarely get it.

Pan Pizza is closer to cheesy bread than to authentic pizza.

pan pizza is closer to a calzone than crackers and sauce you call pizza.
calzone = italian. crackers and sauce = crackers and sauce.

Interesting Note.

Central Floridians. Go to Giordano's. It's awesome. I was there not too long ago. And it's pretty much the bees knees.
