Before I post it, just wanted to say that I'm using my own projected standings to base the draft order on.
Also want you guys to know that looking back over it, I've realized that some guys may be taken too low. But nonetheless, I have many many many MANY more mock drafts coming, so I guess a couple mistakes won't be so bad will it?

Too early to speculate right now on where most of these kids are going. However, in terms of speculation and projections, I don't know how Rey Maualuga from U.S.C. dropped so low. Isn't he considered to be as good, if not, better (by some) than James Laurinaitis?

Where exactly would Jackson play?
Behind Dockett, Branch, Watson, Smith, Campbell, & Iwebama?
our D-Line is stacked, obviously you don't know the Cardinals very well, our needs a RB, 3-4 OLB, & OT
Knowshown Moreno or Euguene Monroe(why isn't he in your 1st round...let alone your top 15) would be good picks

Well I've got Branch and Watson playing inside. As for Dockett, I know he is in a contract situation right now. If the contract gets done, I'll change the pick. If it doesn't, I think Jackson is a huge upgrade on Iwebama, and I get the feeling that Campbell is playing at OLB. If the contract has already been done, then my apologies, I haven't heard of it.
Looking back on it, however, I do see where they could have picked Moreno instead and like I said, I have many more of these left to do.
As for Monroe, I think everybody makes a big deal of him being the reason why Albert played inside at Virginia. But I feel more like Virginia's staff found the best combination to put both those guys on the line at the same time. Monroe is better at tackle whereas Albert could have handled either spot with ease. So I don't feel like Monroe is a top 15 talent...first round, perhaps. That being said, I haven't seen too much of Monroe as I am kinda new to the whole process of scouting and whatnot. But if you feel that Monroe is worthy of being that high, then I will definitely take a closer look.

He was one of the players that I felt I extremely misplaced.
The mistake I made was that I didn't compile a master list, and instead I dealt with certain team needs and really chose a player from one of those needs that matched up with where I felt the player could go. So, I really overlooked Maualuga trying to focus on getting each team a player that really fit with one of their needs.
It's a mistake that I will correct.

I could certainly live with that pick. I think come draft time, Michael Johnson's stock will be much higher, though. I also wouldn't mind Cushing or Maualuga there.

Ugh, terrible mock IMO, some Philly fans are going to love it but I'm not a fan of either of the Prospects.
I'd prefer the Eagles get William Moore and Eugene Monroe (in that order).
William Moore is the best safety in the draft
Eugene Monroe is one of the best OT's in the draft IMO
Seeing that you ranked them by personal opinion, I'm going to guess that you and I have different opinions on prospects.
But, like I said, some Philly fans would love it and others not as much.

(Time to get off someone's jock strap.)
It's just an early mock. Relax...

I couldn't have been more relaxed. I simply stated my OPINION.

You obviously don't know a lot about the Buccaneers if you are giving us an ILB in the 1st round. Does the name Barrett Ruud ring a bell?
-Neg rep for that I'm afraid.

I'm trying to raise the collective IQ of the average NFLDC poster. Sue me.
Pretty awful Green Bay pick. Green Bay's a team that it's hard to pinpoint a position right now, but it won't be DT.

Hard to pin-point a need? Really, because I'm pretty sure that Defensive Backs are a need. Both S and CB for the Packers. (CB to replace Woodson and Harris)

Dockett is under contract for the next 4 years, Campbell is playing DE, Iwebema is quality depth behind Smith/Branch
RDE Dockett | Campbell
NT Watson | Branch
LDE Smith | Branch | Iwebema

2. SF - Michael Crabtree WR (Texas Tech)
Good pick for SF here. If Crabtree is around, they will draft him first and go for a QB in round 2. Since you have Stafford and Bradford off the boards. don't be suprised if the jump up to get Bradford or grab Painter with the 34th overall pick.
7. KC - Tim Tebow QB (Florida)
I don't see Tebow being drafted this high. He is a great college Qb, I just don't see it translating into a great pro career. First rounder, very possible - a top 10 guy ??? IMO it will look like a bad pick 5 years later.
11. ARI - Tyson Jackson DE (LSU)
Don't be suprised to see Arizona trade up to get an RB here (Chris Wells if he plays the way he is expected to).
17. HOU - Knowshon Moreno RB (Georgia)
Houston will not be drafting this low IMO.
19. CAR (PICK TO PHILLY) - Darrius Heyward-Bay WR (Maryland)
Carolina's pick will be lower than this.
20. NYJ - Rey Maualuga ILB (USC)
There's no way this guy fals this far.
25. NO - Gerald McRath OLB (Southern Mississippi)
This is possible. I also see N.O. trading down to acquire more picks if they aren't hot with any of the people still on the boards here. (We're gona be short 2 picks as it is)
Good mock.

Higher than I'd prefer to see the Bears but only slightly...I expect them to be drafting right around where they did this year barring a miracle or barring excessive injuries.
But I suppose I can't complain about the pick given where they are. QB play would surely have been a large part of the problem if we wind up in the top 10, no question about that

If he has a strong season, Taylor Mays would be welcome in St. Louis.

Nic Harris > William Moore. I said it, do you wanna fight??? =D
I'm still having a hard time to believe the Raiders would go anywhere but offensive tackle at the moment. That being said Marks would not be an awful pick at all and I must see how the entire defensive line as a whole shapes out as the season wears on. The vast overhaul of the secondary should disguise any issues on run defense as the the team can afford to stack the box more frequently with confidence in not giving up the big play.
If we're somehow still picking in the top 10 I really like Andre Smith however if not as is the case here I wouldn't be opposed to the selections of either Ciron Black or Alex Boone.

If thats how the drafts goes then I grantee you we will select Knowshon Moreno . And one question, if you have the Vikings that low then that must mean Jackson developed well, so why would they select a qb?

Make that down 4 picks with the Shockey trade. I'm sticking with N.O. trading down to pick up some additional picks.
Horrible redskins pick, we need CB DE or an OLB

I;m not exactly the bniggest DHB or Rolle fan, so I don't really like either of your picks here. We are looking for LTs, Safeties especially, but WR and TE are also needs that will be there come draft time.

I think Moreno would go higher. Maybe to Arizona. Why would Vikings be picking that late. I don't think they are going that late into the playoffs. And if they do, that means Tarvaris Jackson got it done and they wouldn't need a qb. Plus I don't think Bradford will come out that early. The Giants would not draft Moore after drafting Phillips. Other than that I like it.

Not guaranteed that QB won't be a need, even though they are picking this low (Dilfer-Baltimore) ... My original thinking is that this team is loaded on OL, RB, and DEF in general and that a WR wouldn't really be needed at this pick...but I do feel that I can crank out a better draft pick for this team.
And guys...for those who are ''hating'', please understand that it is VERY early for mock drafts...
I also understand that some people are merely asserting their opinions, so I'm not speaking to those. This was a very VERY rough mock draft that I just felt compelled to post so that I could get opinions to better my next mock.
