"The likely Pro Football Hall of Famer made his decision this afternoon after pondering his future for the past 24 hours. Lynch, who will turn 37 in September, confirmed his departure to Denver television station KCNC. Lynch appears on a show with the station. He told the station he will consider his options both inside and outside of football. Lynch has aspirations to do television work after his playing days."

Where do you think he will land?

Wow wait to tell them now, at least he didn't pull a Favre.

Now I think the Broncos might be worse than what we voted them.

I don't think it will hurt Denver that much other then maybe leadership he really hurt them in the passing game.

Edit:This link says maybe SD?

I think he will land on NFL Countdown and create an even bigger cluster-f.

This is too bad, he's probably my all time favourite player...He was amazing in tampa and there isnt a harder pound for pound hitter in the league...he slowed down a little when he was in Denver, but still an amazing leader and a great great guy. I hope he does some TV work, he has a great personality and would be better then most analysts out there now.

He IS a SD native, I've always wanted to see him in Bolts. I don't know if he's a starter for us though. Weird sitch. Gotta love Lynch's game in his prime though.

Former Buc? He's coming to the Lions.

I know the Chiefs have Page and Pollard but Lynch and Herm are pretty close so he could land in Kansas City.

I doubt it. They are close but he is the exact opposite of the kind of player we want now. We're a young team, probably one of the (if not THE) youngest in the NFL. Bringing in a safety over the age if 30 is detrimental to our rebuilding process.

That is true they are close but it won't happen IMO like you said they all ready have Page and Pollard starting and drafted DaJuan Morgan in the 3rd round.

Does not surprise me Denver was limiting his playing time. He's going to be in the HOF so i can see why he would be a little upset but i would be surprised if he signed with another team although he did say that he wanted to still play.

I don't see Lynch playing again. Even during the Pro Bowl interview when he said he'd be back, it didn't seem like his heart was really in it. A hell of a player nonetheless.

kinda off topic but do you guys think there will be three guys voted into the HOF from that tampa d? both sapp and brooks deserve it before lynch imo. lynch, to me, is one of those guys that should be in the hall of the very good, but not the hall of fame.

I bet he makes it, but I agree with you, Sapp and Brooks are more deserving. It might take him awhile to finally get selected but I think he will eventually make it.

He is past his prime. A great warrior, but it's time to move on.
