I had to go up against the best team first. That sucks.

I actually thought this was the closest first round matchup. You have a great OF, and very good pitching. Rogers Hornsby was an awesome pick.

I gave PF the nod because of his offense, but his bullpen isn't great at all. He has 2 "aces", if there are 8 teams in this, an "ace" to me is a top 8 pitcher, but the rest of his staff is below your rotation.

PF got some ridiculous value picks in Ted Williams, Roberto Clemente, and Mathewson.

Call me crazy, but i swear it says "John Smoltz" as the first SP on the Monarchs' roster. ;)

Actually, I think there are. I think T-RICH picked him as well and I just never caught it. Oh well.

T-Rich is automatically disqualified. The end.

Yeah, he was just a miserable failure.

Also, it is the New York Highlanders, not the Yankees...

My bad. You have so many Yankees already anyways, haha.

Seattle, and here is why - Look at their first 3 starting pitchers as compared to New York. great draft by bothe teams. I had a lot of fun doing this.

Pilots look like they'll be flying into round 2 ;)

Both very solid teams, but I think Seattle is a little more balanced from top to bottom.

In an all-time draft, both teams will be able to hit out of the park. It boils down to pitching for me.
