Well first of all let's hope it doesn't get rained out.

I heard it's supposed to be streaming. Anyone know about this?

According to www.packers.com it will be going on. I always enjoy watching these and getting a good look at the players. I'll also be going up to training camp next weekend, which is always a good time.

Well I hope it starts soon because I'm getting really sick of this Favre coverage. They followed his car as he drove home giving us live footage, this is ridiculous.

Yeah, the last hour of coverage has been fairly worthless.

Does he still have his crib there?

Yes, he still has a house in Green Bay

Not a very good throw by Rodgers, but Pat Lee helps him out

That was a nice looking run by Jackson on the TD there.

Also I really hope A-Rod doesn't catch on as a nickname for Rodgers.

Vernand with a terrific run...see some of that burst

That looked more like a defensive breakdown to me.

Rodgers really eyes his receivers too much; something he'll obviously have to work on otherwise opposing defenses will be all over his passes

Peprah has looked good so far.

What were you expecting? We all know the offense takes more time to tune up during TC. I remember people being concern about Favre last year with the total lack of chemistry in TC. Just be patient guys.

Exactly, these things take time, especially when we have a young QB like Rodgers.

They have shown that pick at least 10 times on ESPN today. It was a scrimmage, let it go.

Yeah, that has pissed me off too. They show one play of Rodger's during the introduction to the piece and its the interception. ******* ESPN, but then again, what do we expect?

ESPN must hate Aaron Rodgers.

Anyway, I didnt catch, but I heard Rodgers played poorly.

Did Ryan Grant play?

It was also on a "4th down" play during the two-minute drill. Not a big deal at all.

Having seen the scrimmage live, I agree that Rodgers didn't look all that great, but then again, apart from the first "drive", nobody on the offense looked that great. Matt Flynn threw a great post-flag route, but Taj Smith couldn't make the catch. Lots of dropped passes during the scrimmage.

I thought the defense looked very good. Peprah was all over the place making plays, and Pat Lee did a good job in coverage. I was trying to pay more attention to the linebackers to see if they were blitzing more, but I didn't notice much of a difference from last season.

I wouldn't expect to see alot of blitzing in a scrimmage or even the preseason because the Packers would want to use that as a dynamic against opposing teams and don't want to allow teams to break down their various blitz packages...

There isn't much blitzing by anybody in the preseason. Offenses usually aren't that sharp so bringing additional pressure just throws them off even further.
