ok, question:
1997 Nissan Maxima?

i would think he could do a little better than that.

Crazy. He has had a brilliant career, and he could do more if he is able to pull through. Hopefully, we haven't heard the last of him. Classy guy based on what I know.

I think he ment Zihuantenejo (it was actually in white under my post, too) since he said making a boat, which is what Andy is doing in the last shot of the movie, at least, he's fix-her-upping.

Judging by the fact he was conscious and had enough of a sense of humor to tell people "no frebies" I think he will be fine. Best wishes to him and his passenger, and yes, 97 Maxima is a big question mark.

"No freebies, no freebies"

Classic.

Hopefully that is a sign that albeit his car flipped and he was airlifted, his injuries were not too severe.

When my grandfather fell and broke his hip he was in serious condition and that certainly wasn't life threatening. That term is loosely used.

Anytime a 71-year old is involved in a car accident there is cause for concern. Considering the jaws of life as well as an airlift were used, I would be very concerned.

eaglesalltheway

Yeah but he was joking around, fully conscious. You can be concerned, of course, but I can not find a reason to be concerned for his life. He may be in the hospital for a few days, but it doesn't seem life altering, let alone life threatening.

2Pac was joking around when he was shot, and he died a few hours later.

I'm no doctor nor do I know the details here. Still, I would not take this lightly and there is certainly no guarantee that Freeman will be OK after this ordeal.

Just like I said, no cause for major concern (i.e. him dying) but nonetheless, get well Mr. Freeman. One of my favorite actors, even before he narrated anything and everything that needed narration.

I love Morgan Freeman.

As for a 97 Maxima? Whats the big F'n deal? So the guy has sense. Just because he has a good acting career and drives a Nissan says that he's sensible and isn't about to make a stupid investment.

Yes Cars are a ******** investment. If you buy a Car, it loses 50% when you drive it off the lot and annually about 5-12% depending on Brand and conditions (Mileage, care etc.)

So I actually applaud Morgan for being a sensible smart man.

Troy Polamalu & Wife both have 3 Hyundai's. 2 Cars (one Elantra and one Sonata) and 1 SUV for PA winters.

eaglesalltheway
08-05-2008, 08:52 AM
I don't think anyone was making a big deal about it, it was just something that I, and some other people were puzzled about. I applaud anyone with wealth who doesn't show it off by having flashy or flamboyant cars, houses, etc. I just figured that like many other big name actors, he would be driving a car with a little more recognition, which is what I am assuming everyone else thought.
