I went with Seattle because their offense looks pretty bad, right now. Not horrible, but compared to the rest of the teams. New Orleans and Green Bay also got some consideration, but the Saints really improved their defense and the Packers have a lot of talent on both sides.

Going into the season with Deion Branch as your #1 WR and Julius Jones as your #1 RB is not very promising.

You voted the Vikings last time, why not them again? Is there any reason to who you are voting for?

yeah I didn't see them thats why. My reasoning is who is the qb, who is the Rb, who are the surrounding players. How does the D look and what division are they in.

This is definitely the hardest choice so far, I went with the Seahawks.

I vote Packers, too much drama and uncertainty at quarterback. I think they overplayed their talent last year as well.

I agree with you on your reasons. I am very hesitant at the moment with this team because our most important position is questionable. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

The Seahawks are on the downslide. The days of Shaun Alexander dominating the league are gone as Hutchinson has made his way to Minnesota and Jones has started to show his age. Hasselbeck can still get the job done at a high level in that scheme but even he may not be able to bring the offense to the level it needs to be. In the NFC West, they should absolutely dominate but they are just getting by.

I can see the reasoning behind the Saints improvement, but this is the same team that went 7-9 and gave up 33 points to the Kyle Orton-led Bears on the last game of the season. I'm not sure 3 players will jump them that high.

This is starting to get hard I'm going with the Eagles I just don't see Donovan Mcnabb playing a full season.

I agree with you. As a Saints fan it's hard for me to justify a rating that puts them in the elite of the league when our secondary, which as been exploited ever since Sean Payton has been coach, is still our most questionable unit. Sure, we shored up TE with Shockey, shored up LB w/ Vilma, and added depth and talent along the D-Line w/ McCray and Ellis but that doesn't mean QB's still won't scorch our secondary.

I voted for New Orleans, still not sure about their defense.

From everything I've heard our pass rush has become more prevalent and our 3rd down package is very good but aside from Usama Young having a beastly camp there isn't anything promising coming out about our secondary.

I went NO.....while I love Vilma--or did, before the disaster that has been him in a 3-4--I want to see him perform like the old JV before I book it, and their defense has been awful in many ways the last two years. I really like the Ellis pickup, of course, and they have a solid pair of ends, but I think they will still be below average on D this year.

Offensively, I don't see a real solid reliable deep threat, though Colston, Shockey and Bush will be a dynamic group. I still wanna see them put together a consistent running attack to keep the defense honest.

Overall, some very good, some very bad, and some ugly. Sounds like a recipe for mediocrity to me.

I went with Seattle, I can't say it was too difficult though, they just don't seem enough for a Playoff team, and this (technically) is the last non-playoff team. The next choice is tough though, between NO and the Vikings right now, maybe the Browns, I really don't know right now.

Seattle. Not enough of offense for them to be any higher. Esspecially with Engram and Branch out. Sure they'll win the NFC West because it sucks, but I don't think they're any better then any team left.

Seahawks lose Bobby Engram for the 6-8 weeks.

That means that the Seahawks lose another weapon for their anemic offense.

Who's the #1 WR? Nate Burelson, thats not good.

I still think seattle wins the NFC West unless Leinart steps up for the cards and that oline really gels nicely, but I still think they're O won't hold up against better teams and make the defense do to much.

Seattle might win the West, but that doesn't mean that the team isn't 13th best in the NFL.

Yeah, I voted for them, although I think the Packers might be much worse than we're expecting.

Well, they should outlast the Packers, so thats why they are still around. Better defense, better running back, and can't believe I'm about to complement T-Jack, but a more experienced QB.

i voted the vikings and immediately regretted it.

the Seahawks have questions at every position except QB. and when your leading WR is Bobby Engram, and he goes down for 2 months, things don't look good. the OL is aging, the defense is good, but not good enough to account for the troubles on offense.

wow. who the hell is gonna win the nfc west this year?

Seattle is a much much much better team than Green Bay, Cleavland, New Orleans and Philly

but then again it is the NFLDC masses who are voting so what i guess it is expected

are you serious??? Seattle has a solid defense, but then there offense is empty. Julius Jones/ Maurice Morris at RB with Nate Burleson and Courtney Taylor as their starting WRs. It doesn't matter that Hasselbeck is QB b/c he really has no options. Philadelphia is the only team I would put Seattle ahead of.
