So you're into a girl and you let her know how you feel and she gives you the "we're just friends and nothing more" line. I'm pretty sure everyones gotten this before, what would you do next?

Drop it. Either she's a tease and playing hard to get (which means that she's going to be a handful when/if you're involved) or she's legitimately not interested (which means you're going to become that creepy kid if you keep pursuing it). In the words of Humongous, "Walk Away. Just Walk Away."

Yea if she says were just friends and nothing more take it for what it is. Basicly your not doing more with her then talking thats it.

Give it up, she obviously doesnt think of you in that way and anything you do from this point on to impress her will be looked at as creepy.

If a girl says, "we're friends and nothing more", you have no shot at all. Best thing you can do is just move on, hang out with her, then get with her friends. It's both vengeful and you get some!
what i wouldnt do, is just totally drop it and never talk to her again, because thats also not the right thing to do
but yeah, you should drop the idea of a potential relationship and take her advice, be friends
unless shes a prick anyway and you were just in it for some tail, in that case, slap that ho with your ring hand
but im sure you wouldnt do that

Act like a man for starters. Either you're dating this girl or you aren't. Quit wasting your time. There's a million girls out there who would actually not mess with your head and give you a chance.

Everyone has issues now and again. Everyone here has told you what to do. Don't ignore us. We've all been through this BS before. The worst thing you can do is to become a stalker. If you need to back off and dissassociate yourself from this girl, do it. You'll be better off.

To be fair, Ward, he made his move and got shot down nicely by this girl. Seems like he manned up and asked her out. Now that he knows this, he has to take it like a man and move on.

Of course, I'm definetly not ignoring any of you and I ask for a reason which is because there's a chance quite a bit of people here could give an insightful response to a issue I may have.

I wish you luck, dude. I give you credit for making the effort and putting yourself out there. I know that's often the hardest thing to do. In the future, you should do what you can to avoid falling into the "friend zone". Act sooner and don't act like a friend. If you are trying like a guy who wants more than friends, your perception could change.

Couldn't be farther from the truth. There are women that exist my friends that will put you through mindgames, break down your manhood, and try to enslave you. You have to find them, and date around. I don't get what it is about a lot of men who seem to think it's our role in this new age of sex relations that men have to put up with psycho ***** because that's supposed to mean they're "liberated" and "independent". To that I say, "A ***** is a ***** is a *****".

Just stop talking to her. That way, one of two things will happen.
1)She is emotionally needy, and will wonder why you stopped talking to her. Then she will come up to you and start liking you more and more. After that it is easy.
2)You will get over her, no harm, no foul.
See that is a win/win situation.

All girls will put you through mindgames. Women are emotional creatures, men are logical. Now, many of them don't do it maliciously. There are quite a few girls who even try not to, but all do to an extent. Men and women don't think the same way, and that is what causes those "good girls" to play the mind games. They act the same way to a guy as they do to a girl, and guys brains just register what she is saying, not what she means. Once you can understand chickspeak, your set with just about any girl you could meet.

I read this thing on once on finding out whether or not she wants to be more then friends. Basically, when you are just talking with her alone, reach and tough her hair and say "your hair feels soft"-or something like that-and if she smiles, make your move, but if she doesn't, back off.

There is a reason men are better at the math and sciences. Obviously it isn't ALL men, but overall men are more logical thinkers. Does that mean men will always make the choice that makes the most sense? Hell no it doesnt. What it does mean is that men will think the a problem using logic rather than their emotions. They could be using faulty logic, but it is logic nonetheless.

Wallow in self misery over being rejected by this girl, turn to alcohol to self medicate and become the life of the party at various bars/parties, nail every piece of ass you can to try and overcome the rejection in a frivolous attempt to restore your self esteem only to eventually contract some sort of STD and then your self misery will be tenfold and deserved.....

That's also not true.
Men are better at Math and Sciences because those still aren't "female subjects" in our society. As this is slowly changing, women are catching up / passing us.

I never said it was. It's just a false statement to say that men are more logical.
Even if you want to say women are more emotional, it doesn't mean their reasons for being emotional are less logical than our reasons for being stoic. It's just another random sterotype.

Are you one of those people who think there aren't inherent differences between the sexes? Because there are, read anything about evolutionary biology. Is one sex better than the other? No. They are just different.
You can't tell me that women don't make more decisions based on emotions. If you ask a man why he did something wrong, he will say he THOUGHT he was doing the right thing. A woman will say that she FELT like she was doing the right thing. Women do things based on the way they FEEL at a certain time. Men do things based on the way they THINK they should do it.
Does this apply to everyone? No, there are exceptions to every rule.

Yes there are biological differences. I never said that there weren't. I simply talked about your fallacy of Men being naturally better at Math and Science.
However, your whole women making decisions based on emotions and men not thing is stupid. Women think things through just as much as men do, and I would like to see where you have evidence to show otherwise.
The psychological community would be interested in this, because it would counteract a few of the things they've been saying... however, I doubt they accept things based on broad sterotypes that aren't really true.
When it comes to biological urges, men can be incredibly illogical. They will use rational thinking to justify doing idiotic things. When it comes to sex and boobies, logic flies out the window.
