Is a RT worth a top 5 pick and all that guaranteed money?

Phil Loadholt? and apparantly you are very high on the Panthers

I really don't think James Laurinaitis falls all the way to 32 he won't fall past 20 IMO.

Probably not, but no QB's were on the board worth a look that high. You're offensive line is getting older and even weaker(minus Williams and he is already hurt too) Without an offensive line Forte is going nowhere and whoever you find for QB is going to fail just like Orton and Sexy Rexy. Trust me I know the painful truths about neglecting to realize it all starts up front...I've been a Browns fan my entire life.

I'm a huge Ohio State fan, and personally James Laurinaitis is the most overrated prospect since Rodrique Wright when everyone including Mr. Scott Wright rated him a Top 5 prospect.

I don't personally consider him top 5 but I do consider him top 20, and he is a pretty good prospect, although I agree he is overrated but he is still mid 1st round material.

Decent Miami pick, although i would rather have Michael Johnson or George Selvie there instead.

Linebacker in the 1st round is doubtful at best for the Colts under Coach Dungy, but in this case, I'll gladly make an exception and welcome Little Animal with open arms and a big smile. Too good to be true imo.

Perfect guy to have as the middle linebacker of the defense, the guy may not be a thumper but he can play coverage and that's absolutely key for the Colts.

I like the KC pick, I'm just surprised Bradford goes a pick before Stafford. I guess it is before the season so anything could happen. That being said, I am extremely high on Stafford and would love to see him in KC red.

Actually, with LT not being as big of a need as we once considered, Loadholt could be a alright as a RT, though I still am not veryfond of him.

Moore is a great pick by the way...

Give the Titans Malcolm Jenkins.

As for the Colts, I would love to see Lauranitus in a Colts uni but I think DT is a bigger need so I would like to see Sen'Derrick Marks as our pick there.

Loadholt is so confusing to me, will he play RT or LT? Is he Bryant Mckinnie 2.0 or is he George Foster 2.0? He's got such a big upside, but with so many questions about his abilities, I wouldn't take him rd.1. He is the most physically gifted OT in the draft but his technique isn't great. I think he will fall to rd.2 and if he gets a good o-line coach I can see him being dominant, but with Loadholt there are so many "ifs" and questions but he is a physical beast, so I can't decide wether I like him or not. Also a guy that I think he compares favorably to is Marcus McNeil LT (http://web.archive.org/web/20060423145842/www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/ot/marcusmcneill.html) of the San Diego Chargers.

The same was once true of Kenny Phillips.

I'd prefer a DE to Detroit. I think if we have a losing record (which isn't unlikely) we need more pass-rush.

I'm sure it's possible they could go 3-13. I am hopeful that they don't. If they were drafting second, at present, we are a little higher on Stafford. Especially if he can hold on to that AP #1 ranking.

P26. New Orleans 11-5 :: Brian Cushing LB USC
I think NO will be tradiing down. If Laurinaitis is still on the board, such as in your mock, and they can get him and pick up a 3rd round pick, believe me, it will happen.

CJ for god sake, we know you think the Saints will trade down lol. But for the mocks we usually don't do trades, especially this early in the process. Jeez.

Yes, but if it happens, can you imagine how far down everyones jaw will drop on draft day.

not very far.

But why do they need more picks?

I don't like where you have the Buccaneers listed, but I like the pick.

ummmm......

not very far.

But why do they need more picks?

Our 2nd and 5 go to the Giants for Shockey
3rd to the Jets for Vilma
6th to G.B. for the A. Arrington pick last year.

That leaves us with a 1st, 4th and 7th.

Tampa's pick is good. He should be able to make an impact early in his career.
