Hey,

I am considering making a fantasy football trade and wanted to get some outside opinions.

First a little background: It's a ten team keeper league where we can each keep up to six players. Basically traditional scoring, i.e. touchdown heavy.

The deal before me is the #3 rookie pick (Matt Forte, Kevin Smith or Jonathan Stewart) for Larry Fitzgerald and Thomas Jones.

Here is what my roster would look like before the trade as well as after:

If I made the deal I'd have to drop Cooley and Evans to make room for Fitzgerald and Jones.

I'd do it Scott, looks good. Holt and Fitz are always very strong and consistant fantasy WR's IMO.

Plus, there are quite a few good sleeper TE's like Dustin Keller(will probably play some slot WR with Favre which = lots of points), Boss(Eli loves big targets) and I like Fasano.

Good deal, I would be hesitant on not taking Stewart because he will be a beast, people have soured because he is slow out of the gates, but watch out...With that said your fine at RB, TJ is a nice sleeper, he has 1100+ yds last year, with Favre the TD's will come, LJ could bounce back and you still have Jacobs behind him.


Cooley and Evans are not a big deal to drop, you could draft Cooley or Shockey again for a TE, and I'm not that high on Lee Evans, Cotchery will outscore him this year...Definatlely pull the trigger on this.

Easily. Fitz is more known and will be more of an asset anyway. Toss in TJones, and you have a solid Rb for this year. You need to get younger at WR anyway.

In and of itself, I like the trade. Especially if you need RB depth. But then again, that's three players for one which means you'd have to drop two players from your roster to make room. Which might not make it worth it depending on your roster.

I counter-offered Roy Williams, Jerious Norwood (he has Turner), and Kevin Walter for Cotchery, Kevin Smith, and Perry.
