View Full Version : Adalius Thomas
After some careful consideration, I think the Cowboys should make an effort to sign him. I realize our LB core is brimming with talent, but let's consider his versitility; Thomas has played eight different defensive positions. That's shocking. He's also in the prime of his career.
I'd line him up opposite D-Ware, and possibly release Ellis.

Porter is about to turn 30. He still has a lot left but, he is going to cost a bundle. I dont want to keep repeating myself but, I'm not ready to give up on Carp as an OLB yet. In regards to Porter, we dont need him.

If we go OLB in FA then we have to move Carp inside.
We would be so back-logged at LB.

I'd LOVE to have Thomas. I am opposed to moving Carp inside for a draft pick player, but for a proven stud like Thomas, I'd change my thinking.
I still think Nate Clements is the #1 FA on the board for the Cowboys.

He might be #1 but he's gonna be too expensive

I think that's an interesting point. Can Phillips make Burnett into a poor man's A. Thomas?
