I was very impressed with him today.I don't believe he was ever called for a penalty and never gave up a sack which is amazing for a rookie LT against that D

He played really well and he'll only get better as the season continues and he gets more experience.
It doesn't hurt playing next to Brian Waters either!
Good to hear, and impressive considering he hardly played in the preseason.

He held his ground very well against Warren and Seymour in pass protection. Run blocking wise, he is very agile and can get off blocks to go down field and make those 2nd blocks that will allow the running backs to break those big ones. I was very impressed with all of our rookies.

I'm really impressed with Mike Cox. He gets in there and hits someone in the mouth. He's a tough guy, and he's an excellent pass catcher.
He only helps our run game.

Just wanted to touch on this...
I thought Albert has looked real good so far, considering the lack of experience at the position. I was wary at first but he's looking like a good pick at this very early stage of the game. One thing he needs to work on that he, unfortunately, probably won't be able to during the season is his run blocking power. He get good position for the most part but he doesn't seem strong enough to handle NFL defensive linemen yet. Fortunately, that is an easily correctable situation.

I've noticed that also. He is getting almost no push on in the running game right now which suprised me with him being a former guard. I also think that the technique is there, it's just a matter a being in an NFL strength program a little longer and that should come around.

I'm not convinced we go OL with our first pick. Before he started I was sort of 50/50 on it, thinking maybe OL could be our top pick but he has exceeded expectations so far.
Can't wait to watch him every week.
