EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—Although veteran Jets quarterback Brett Favre claims he still loves the game, dwindling enthusiasm and a desire to bow out while on top has him contemplating retirement again, Favre confirmed Monday.

So you're gonna make up for it by making us sick of Favre hate?

no one but packers fans and maybe jets fans would ever get sick of that.

I would think that everyone would prefer to just stop hearing about him, but I guess its more fun and constructive to say that Favre makes you sick.

Well, that's how I feel, so I'm going to say it.

Favre isn't as great as everyone makes him out to be, hell, if I played 18 years in the league there's a good chance I'd set the career passing records.

No one cares that he tosses a good 30 interceptions each season, as long as he throws for 4,000 yards along with 31 touchdowns.

I guess you could win 3 MVPs as well, right?

No. Just no.

The records thing is an absolutely ridiculous thing to say. Let's take a look at the top 3 players behind Favre for career passing TDs:

Dan Marino played 17 seasons as a starter
Fran Tarkenton played 18 seasons as a starter
John Elway played 16 seasons as a starter

Brett Favre broke Marino's record to become the record holder in his 16th season as a starter

Suprise suprise, you're wrong again. Favre has never thrown for 30 INTs in a season and he has gone over 25 just once. He has thrown for over30 TDs 8 times.

Absolutely ridiculous, Favre lover?

For a guy that has played in every game for his entire career, he has thrown for more picks in a season than touchdown three times.

I was kidding with the 30 interceptions, but he did throw 29 interceptions in '05, which is outrageous. Don't try and blame it on the team around him, that is still horrible.
