View Full Version : Week 2

Well, week 2 was about as ugly as can be. They really need to get some players in here. I hope the regime has anyone they did not draft on the trading block. If someone is willing to offer picks for anyone they have, they should really consider it. The best way to look at it is they don't see them on the team in 2010, they should look to get something for them now. The most important day of the 2008 season is draft day 2009.

Some of the young guys have shown some promise. Henne looked pretty good in garbage time yesterday. Definitely the best arm they have had at QB since Marino. The DL tandem of Merling and Langford are here for the long haul. Long had a couple of slip ups, but I think he will get better and better. You have to include Bess as a guy who may have a nice future here as a #3 receiver and KR. Maybe a mini-Welker in a couple of yrs. Too bad Thomas had to get hurt because it would have been nice to see how he progressed..

Bottom line is that they need 2 more drafts like the one they just had and we may be OK. Help is definitely needed on both sides of the ball (especially back 7 on D) and it will take a while to get there....

We try to. He drops them all.

Anyways my take on the Dolphins roster

Keepers: Jake Long, Justin Smiley, Samson Satele, Donald Thomas, Devone Bess, Chad Henne, Phillip Merling, Kendall Langford, Channing Crowder, Will Allen, Matt Roth.

Only having 11 guys on the roster that have shown enough to stick around next season is a big reason why we suck so much.

Why needs list switches every week but I'm looking at CB, WR, OLB and OL depth as our biggest needs for next draft at this point with NT and Safety being next in line.
