What was it like playing on an Al Davis team?

I won 4 games in 4 years and had 3 head coaches...does that kind of give you an idea?

One of my favourite quotes in awhile.

Best pass-rushing DT ever. Should have never left Tampa.

This quote shows you his passion for winning.

As much as I hate the Tampa 2, that 2002 Bucs D had 2 of my all time fave defenders (Lynch and Sapp)

Sapp's a classless dumb ass, despite his HOF resume, he never should've left for oakland though.

I think that's the general consensus of everyone who ever leaves for oakland.

Sorry Sarf...

He's probably referring to the Chad Clifton incident. That's just my guess.

I don't like him at all as an analyst, hell of a football player though.

In my eyes, he's a definite HOFer though. I know some don't agree with me as far as first ballot goes, but he's first ballot to me.

No argument here.

That class is going to be a great one, if Favre retired it would be one of the best.

Im actually glad he didn't retire. Bc now all the guys who in my eyes were first ballot should get in.

If Brett retired, somebody would get snubbed. Most likely Sapp being that guy.

Steve isn't a classless asshole though. He has made amends and does a lot more good than people realize, despite his mistakes.

He has to be. He was easily the most dominant player on that defense, and it will go down as one of the best units in history.

Monte Kiffin is the reason Sapp didn't finish his career in Tampa. Kiffin essentially picked Booger McFarland over Sapp for the front office, so Sapp was left having to sign with another team once his contract was up.

Blame him for signing with the Raiders? Well, he had the championship ring, the career, and the numbers. Hard to fault him for going after the best payday available, at that point. Wasn't the second option Cincinnati, if memory serves correct? Eh, who knows how that would have worked out, although at least Sapp would have been kept in a 4-3 for the duration of his time there.

You would be correct, sir.
