As A Seahawks fan, I am disappointed that they fired him. Easy win now gone.

Well, who's next? Sucks for Linehan, yet needed to be done.

He was way over his head as a HC.

Haslett's back! I always liked him as a HC.

Hopefully some/all of the Rams' front office gets cleaned out too, this offseason. Most of the guys there didn't do good jobs either, look at some of the money they spent in free agency and some of the draft picks made. Linehan can't be blamed for those bad decisions.

Just because of all the rumors, I would guess Kiffin.

Do you think the Chiefs would fire Herm mid-season?

I don't think there is any chance Clark Hunt fires him mid-season.

Thank God the worst head coach ever to head coach in the NFL is gone. Good Lord Linehan made Martz look like Bill Walsh and made Dick Vermiel look like Vince Lombardi.

Definitely agree!!

Greatest day since he was hired for us Rams fans!

I'm excited about Haslett as Interim. He's not going to be great but this is HIS team now he can hopefully provide a little spark and get some energy going through us.

I'll tell what I think of the hiring after the season.

GO RAMS!

At least Haslett has head coaching experience...and has made the playoffs.

So what's next for the Rams--reclamation or utter rebuilding? I still feel like with some moves they can turn their offense around, but their D might be hopeless. Should they just blow it all up? --is Stafford in the picture?

So, who was better: Scott Linehan or Joe Vitt?

Joe Vitt hands down. Wish we would have kept him.

Joe Vitt for sure, he could actually get the players to play hard.

So whats the record for fewest games into a season before the head coach gets fired? This one has to be be pretty damn close.

Congrats Rams fans. This is a move that was much needed. Enjoy. I can't wait for the day the Niners shitcan Mike Nolan.

so does this mean Bulger is back as the starter?

What happens when that doesnt work? It will be a seamless transition into "we're in the rebuilding process".

Oh well maybe now we will show some signs of being an NFL team not a bad high school football team who would lose to Oklahoma by 5 touchdowns.
