Now I love the Ravens, they are a sweet football team because they are all about defense, who doesn't want to watch a tough hard fought defensive game?

Now with that being said, damn you Ravens and damn you Ravens fans. You got freaking Jared Gaither for what? A 5th round pick because you got him in the "supplemental draft". Honestly what the hell!

The guy did not make his grades at Maryland, could not play, went into the supplemental draft and the Ravens basically steal this kid. I had him as the easy 1st OT prospect in his class and potentially a top 3 selection in the NFL draft whenever he came out. He would have been that, how people did not see it is beyond me.

Now you guys basically have a young Ogden literally in Gaither, tall, powerful and athletic. Damn you are lucky and damn does Gaither look good, love that he is a starter and is playing great. Congrats to you all, still a shock he was so easy to get. Had to lose a 5th round pick to take him in the supplemental draft, pathetic man....what a steal!

thank you we did get a deal, he could have been a #1 overall pick, he has the athletic ability to be the next Ogden. I love the pick up.

Well lets hold up a little on the next Ogden bit, lol.True, but still it is ridiculous you got a Fing starting OT, a really good starting OT and a potential top 10 pick for a 5th round pick? It is such a ridiculous steal it is insane! You guys are so lucky and I do not see how it was not a literal fist fight to get him in the "supplemental draft" Shoot I would have easily given up a 2nd or even 1st round pick to get a kid like him. What because he is not book smart he will stink in the NFL, please....

Yes sir, He is coming together nicely, I can see our O-line being one of the best, if not the best in the near future. I am really high on this particular part of our offense, everyone gives credit to Flacco and the run game but the o-line is the whole reason why Flacco has enough time to cook pancakes until someone gets open :p

He was great yesterday, unfortunately Chris Chester was a complete bum again.

he gets overpowered in the run game. He isnt a good pass blocker as well.

Without a doubt, we did a steal with Gaither for only a 5th (which I think we got back as a comp pick). But he still has some work to do. He needs to be more disciplined with all his penalties. And he can improve in the pass blocking, but he's doing a solid job right now. But he was without worth more then the 5th we got him for.

Watching Stephon Heyer beast it as a Redskin when he's a RT it's a shame the Ravens didn't sign him when he went undrafted. They could have had bookend tackles on the left and right side in Gaither and Heyer at the cost of a 5th rounder and undrafted signing. It's a shame though. Heyer definitely improved from when he was at Maryland. He was always good against the run but he upped his fitness and is now a decent pass blocker. Jared Gaither is playing exactly like I expected him to. The terps really produce some great NFL players regardless of draft position. If I were the Ravens I'd stack my practice squad with a bunch of hard working terps, for next season guys like David Holloway or Phillistin or Fokou. They could be great special teams players.

^^ Not a bad idea at all dude. We all know Maryland's produces great players but almost all of them are phyisically in a monster shape and I bet there 3rd stringers are in better shape than some starters on other teams. They know how to get it done
