Wow... Bruce Johnson at the top of the 2nd is a TERRIBLE pick. This guy is straight garbage. He is a joke. If he even gets drafted I would be shocked. I don't understand all the love he gets around here. And this is coming from a Miami fan. I HATE Bruce Johnson. Have you even watched him play? I'm guessing you haven't obviously.
Other than that, Selvie and Raji are pretty solid picks. I think if we don't sign Gable or Asomugha, then Vontae will be a bigger priority over Selvie, but we'll see.

If that is how the Steelers draft turns out, I will not complain. Good job.

I am a big fan of the Packers first round pick but I don't think Kraig would be that big of a help for GB

Give the Bears DHB or Crabtree over Harvin. Loadholt would be a good round 2 pick if he works out well.

I can do that if the Bears really want another bust at reciever.
Raiders need more playmakers on offense and with the top 3 OTs off the board it's a solid pick.

Love Oher for the Rams in the second you give a lot of choices with guys like Granger, Vance Walker, Lauriniatis, and Macho Harris...I'd take any of em (macho is the dark horse of the group because I LOVE him and the Rams secondary has blown so far)

If scott and aso would sign with the saints i would be both over the moon and barely interested in who we would draft anyways, but in that case i think very happy with moore, however i dont see us getting two of the best free agents. However if we do we would be even more awesome next year
Carolina really has bigger needs than a S. They locked up Chris Harris to an extension and rookie Charles Godfrey, has been the starter since day 1 of training camp.
DT and DE are much bigger needs.

I seriously doubt we draft an offensive tackle with the fourth overall pick. If the top three played out like that I could see us grabbing Rey in the first and picking up Loadholt or Herman Johnson in the second.

Crabtree I'm not sure yet. I have to watch him more, but there is still something fishy about him right now. I think he benifits greatly from his system and he lacks breakout speed. He'll be a possession reciever in the NFL.
Darius? I've seen him drop easy balls. Up to this point he can't break the jam of stronger corners. He doesn't run very crisp routes and I think he screams Troy Williamson entirely too loud.
Also neither of these guys make plays like Harvin does. When Harvin is in open space he makes things happen unlike Crabtree and Heyward-Bey. Percy Harvin at worst is going to be a Santana Moss type and I can easily see him being more of a Steve Smith type.

Way too early to pick Maualuga...maybe if you traded down to the 10-15 range.

i'd love to come away from that with Duke and Loadholt. A healthy Chris Williams + that = talented young o-line to go into the future with.
nice pick for the skins with butler. i wouldnt mind one of the ILBs there either with most of the good ots off the board.

Gooeeee...Seriously? I keep getting teams flip flopping. One poster says a team needs this and the other says something else. I'm almost positive on one of my earlier Mocks a Panthers fan wanted a Saftey. Peria Jerry is still on the board, so I guess I could make that switch.

Really Duke Robinson at 16? I think at the end of the scouting process he wont even be the #1 rated guard.

I highly doubt the Colts will be picking in the first half of the 1st round. So presuming there picking between picks 20-32, I still see them either going DT or OL. Whoever is the best person there whether it be Duke Robinson or Ricky-Jean or Sen 'Derrick Marks.

I think both will be better WR in the pros than Harvin. I like Harvin but DHBs upside is through the roof and his route running is very underrated. I love how every one wants to compare DHB to Williamson cause Williamson busted. Couldnt you compare every deep threat crap WR to Williamson then. Harvin is a beast in space but I think he'll fall to the 2nd like other undersized WRs have. Crabtree is also a deep threat if you actually watch him play. Theres more to being a deep threat than a 40 time.

13. San Francisco 2-2 :: Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma
It's possible. At this point in the season, and I'm going to use your boards here, I'd prefer a WR like Percy Harvin or DHB. I'm starting to change my tune about needing a QB and instead think we need some OL help.
17. New Orleans 2-2 :: William Moore S Missouri
A need position and ,I must admit, a better S prospect then Taylor Mays (it's tough to admit, hey I'm a USC fan), I'm just not in love with it. You know what I would do, but all that aside-- there is no good OLB in this area of your boards so faced with not being to trade down (if that happens) it is the logical pick.
45. San Francisco :: Aaron Kelly WR Clemson
OK, if we took a WR in the first, it would allow us to take Loadholt (who is a 1st round guy in my opinion) and shore up that O Line that so badly needs help.
Again, I appreciate the "trades" consideration.
Keep up the weekly mock

That situation would suck for the Eagles, but given the situation, you have the best possible picks for the Eagles in the first round IMO. The second rounder with LaFell is good, but we may also be looking at Herman Johnson with our second rounder in that situation, as he could play guard for us and one (or both) of our guards will slide out to Tackle.

...because Knowshon Moreno is the far superior football player. If teams draft soley because they needed one position over another then they'd ultimately end up sucking.

Really? You have Chad Johnson being moved only for a 2nd? And Boldin for a only a first? If anything, the Titans would make those trades for a legit number one. Other then that, I like the draft pick. Crabtree could develop into a number 1 WR, and he definitely has the ability to become a red zone threat. My only question is whether its truly his talent, or the system that he is in.

Fact is that Steve Slaton looks really solid and their secondary looks like swiss cheese

There is no way we go Tebow over Bradford if both declare. We just spent 3 years on a developmental QB and we are not about to do it again and waste another 3 years. At this point Bradford is the safe pick and I have no doubt the Vikings would take him.

I would love this Steelers draft. I am a huge fan of both Black and Mack and they would have a huge impact on this line.
Great picks.

Yea, you get a lot of different opinions on what a team needs from the fans but look it at based on the roster...
At safety, the Panthers have Chris Harris (who IMO is one of the more underrated safeties in the league), Charles Godfrey (who was drafted in the 3rd round last year and went into training camp as the starter), Nate Salley (former starter at the position who is solid depth), and Quinton Teal (mainly a special teams player but not a liability when he gotten on the field with the defense).
At DE, the Panthers have Julius Peppers (who is a UFA after this year but would be tagged if they can't get a deal done), Tyler Brayton (who actually does better as a situational passrusher at DT than he has so far while starting at DE for the Panthers), Charles Johnson (drafted in the third round in 07, basically a one trick pony thus far in his career but does show some progress against the run), and Hilee Taylor (drafted in the seventh round this past April and has only been active for one game so far I believe).
At DT, the Panthers have Maake Kemoeatu (who has been sensational this year against the run), Damoine Lewis (who has been playing well all around this year), Darwin Walker (who has been decent depth but could be upgraded), and Gary Gibson (rarely sees the field).
I could also argue that FB is a bigger need than safety (Hoover, the only FB the Panthers have is showing his age by whiffing on blitz pick-ups).

Yes, that's true in some cases, but not in this one. They simply don't need a RB that bad, but they do need a DB, very badly. You can't use that same logic for everyone. It seems to me that you have a lot to learn about the draft process.
