Devin Moore is an under-the-radar type prospect mostly due to his college of choice, but for those of you who have not had the chance to see him play, I encourage you to do so. This guy has incredible speed with pretty decent vision and can help a team on the special teams' units.

At this point in time I have him rated as the 3rd best senior back behind Clemson's James Davis and Michigan State's Javon Ringer. Based off his performance for the rest of the season and what could be a promising combine, I think this kid, in my eyes, could move to the number one spot as far as senior backs go.

Any thoughts from others DCers?

i only saw him on tape last year. hes pretty fast, but very small. hes going to have to work out great, show he can catch the ball, and show value added skills. hes not going to be able to play tb other than situational. as for thethird best, hes not an nfl tb. certainly a draft worthy prospect. i could see a team wasting a second rd if he works out well, but i see his value as late rds. if he was a wr id like him better.

I agree that he isn't a 20-25 carries a game type back, but he can be similar to what Reggie Bush is to the Saints and what Chris Johnson is to the Titans.

well, being that youve seen him, does he remind of either of those guys? hes also smaller than those guys, and hes slower than chris johnson, by a lot. id like him much more as a wr. hopefully he can return punts or ko. if not its going to be hard sledding. but certainly worth a look, but not before the mid rds.

I'd say he compares more to chris johnson; he does have around 4.35 speed, which is exceptional, and god forbid it isn't in the 4.2s like Johnson but he has sick speed. His size does concern me a bit as well, but he's not Darren Sproles small. Being a little over 5'9" will obviously hurt him more in the passing game than running.

I'd like to see what he could do with better talent around him; atleast on the OL.

hes not bigger than sproles. hes taller. sproles is heavier. and an ace return man. if he can do what sproles does hes worthy of a mid rd. like sproles. ill have to get them on tape then ill revisit. but just going off what i saw last year, hes going to have to work out freak like for any type of high pick and prove he has value added skills

It's a fairly weak senior class of RBs so I'd agree with the placement at #3

Maybe a change of pace type back, but doesn't have the size to be an every down player. He'll get a shot...we'll need to see if his athleticism can match the next level, which will be key for him.

Wyoming is terrible. Have his numbers come in garbage time or throughout the game?

Against a San Diego State team that has been garbage this year

Tidbit: I went to highschool with Devin Moore ... he was a year ahead of me and I was able to talk the guy a lot ... very, very nice guy and will impress a lot of teams on the interview portion at the combine ... humble and has a nice head on his shoulders ... He went to Wyoming because he played for a 1A High School team in Indianapolis(Cardinal Ritter High School) of about 450 kids or so ... He did lead us to a state championship, though!

With that said ... Devin's fast as hell ... he has great jukes, stutter steps, change of direction and vision ... he'll immediately contribute on special teams and could potentially start one day ... he is short though, but -- who cares ... I really hope he does awesome as he's the only kid from our school to ever get a legit shot to make the NFL!

Apparently this was on a bad knee. This is probably where he'll have to make his living and with that add some value to the offense if a situation presents itself. I like the kid as a potential return specialist though.
