Discuss week 6 games.

Got this up a bit late with the games starting tonight ().

Not really much going on during the week, Pitt vs USF might be decent/upset game.

FSU @ Miami this week, hopefully UM can put it together for a whole game. Auburn @ #19 Vandy should be a terrible offensive game but it will be interesting to see if the Vandy team is some what legit.

Oregon/USC and OSU/Wisconsin seem to be the other big conference match ups this week.

Not to mention anyone who played offense for Auburn in the past. Seriously, how did they find a QB worse than Brandon Cox?

Shouldn't both of those games be horrible offensive displays? FSU's offense is terrible, while both teams defenses are rather good.

I have no clue who wins either of those games.

Huge Big 10 game this week with OSU @ Wisconsin. It'd be better if Wisconsin didn't lose to Michigan, but its still a big game for both of these teams. Neither can afford a 2nd loss.

I think OSU and USC both get wins this week.

I just watched the Pitt game, since I DVR'd it.

- Shady McCoy is a gentleman and a scholar.

- Was that Matt Cavanaugh calling the plays on offense? Couldn't be. They must have replaced him with someone competent.

- Pitt's pressure on Grothe played a major role in stifling that usually great offense. More teams are going to try to use that to beat USF.

- Bill Stull still underthrew the ball more than I'd like, but its hard to knock anything else from his performance. He was a cool customer.

Also: Wait, our D is worse with our best Defensive player having a high anke sprain? SHOCKING!!!!

- Excuses, excuses. One quality end does not a defense make.

- Wanny's job security: As safe as wearing two condoms.

Nebraska coaches and players think they can shutout Missouri, even said it to the media. I guess we'll see saturday.

Matt O'Hanlon is an idiot. There is a reason that kid was benched at it wasn't because he just flat out sucked.

I'm a fan, but I'll be the first to admit I expect to get beat by 21+ this weekend. If we stay competitive, I'll be shocked.

I may even say worse since our best playmaker on defense will likely not even get much burn. Cody Glenn has looked ridiculous with his closing speed and vicious hitting ability. Dude has great instincts as well considering he has only played LB for a few months. But since we will be seeing the spread, he will likely come off the field since he isn't overly skilled in pass coverage yet.

BTW, for anyone already looking forward to the draft, look at Cody Glenn for a sleeper. Watch this kid run to the ball and his overall instincts for a guy who just turned into a LB as a senior. In about 3 years, the guy will be an incredible LB in the NFL. Probably the only Nebraska player (besides Jaivorio Burkes) who has an extremely bright future in the NFL.

I couldnt care less about the hype if the guy can play. Clausen has really improved leaps and bounds over last year. He has a good arm and seems very accurtate, would be concerned about his size.

As for Rudolph and Floyd both are future #1 picks.

Clausen is 6'3, 217 lbs. That's not huge, but not bad for a soph who was 190ish last year.

Rudolph is a serious mismatch for LBs, and Floyd is a freak.

He's actually made some nice blocks but at this stage you're right, any predictions 4 or 5 games into a freshman's season have to be taken with a grain of salt but what's not to like really?
