The biggest problem I'd have with this draft would be the draft order actually, I like the saints pick and I dont see anything to offsetting, just one thing No Maluaga, Cushing or Laurinaitis in the first round and Jasper Brinkley going 14th overall seems a bit weird

Uck, the Eagles picks are horrible. Sorry man, I don't mean to come down hard on you or anything, but those just aren't good picks. DE is not a need at all, our "weakest link" on our D line is Juqua Parker, and he has 4 sacks or more I beleive, and is playing great agianst the run. We will be getting Victor Abiamiri back soon and he will only improve our rotation. The Eagles biggest needs are OT, S, and TE. Ciron Black or Jamon Meredith would be good choices, and TEs like Pettigrew or Coffman would also be good ideas. Patrick Chung or Michael Hamlin would each be better than Rolle, he hasn't produced enough to warrant a first round pick, and is slow to boot.

I don't mind the 49ers drafting a QB but if they pick Freeman over Bradford I will cry.

Way too early for the Colts to be picking. Bad pick also. Vance Walker could possibly end up lasting till our 2nd round pick. If we did indeed pick that early we would draft best player available.

You wouldn't be alone. Give us Bradford. Heck, if KC paced on Monroe, I'd prefer him to Freeman.

16. New Orleans Saints- Aaron Curry (OLB) Wake Forest
I love this guy, great pick - I would hope, however, they would trade down a few spots, pick up some additional picks and still get Curry. That would be a perfect N. O. 1st round IMO.

No Maualuga in the 1st? That's just foolish IMO. Some VERY questionable picks in here.

Solid Miami pick though. Orakpo would also work well.

Atlanta won't take an OG that high. give us DT Vance Walker there.

I think the chances that Stafford would come out as opposed to Freeman and Bradford are probably 5 to 1. KC would be glad to oblige.

Walker is too good to be lasting to the 2nd round. He is a first round prospect.

I have everyone eligible declaring, Stafford would be in the early 2nd.

Maualuga doesn't have the instincts to play in the NFL right now. He is good physically, but you have to be better than that, especially in an ILB class as strong as this one.

DE isn't a need for the Eagles. And I threw up in my mouth when I saw Myron Rolle.

I like people that go out on a limb but you'll be out there by yourself.

And let me add that Stafford as a junior would get a recommendation from the NFL board and wouldnt come out if he werent going to go fairly high.

I don't think it counts as "going out on a limb" here, since Stafford lacks first round accuracy and decision making.

The DE is BPA there... something more likely than taking a reach on a "need" IMO. Rolle is a great fit across from Quintin Demps at safety.

To each his own i guess, to not have Stafford, Maualuga and Laurinaitis in the 1st round is sort of differant.

Except Rolle isn't good, and Quentin Mikell is sweet.

Ciron Black makes more sense in Jackson's spot.

People want to rip on Matt Stafford for completion percentage and decision making but Josh Freeman gets hyped up. This is a guy who has a completion percentage of 57% and and TD:INT ratio of 20:19 in conference play over his career. The same criticisms of Stafford's stats can be applied to Freeman.

Freeman vs North Texas (2008), Montana State (2008), Louisiana-Lafayette (2008), and Missouri State (2007).

81/112 (72%), 9 TD, 0 INT

Freeman vs Every other team

452/772 (58%), 26 TD, 28 INT

Take away this guy's games against the Sun Belt and D1-AA and he's nothing special. His numbers are very similar to Matt Stafford's, and he had a legitimate #1 receiver last year.

If you don't think Stafford is a top 10 pick, that's fine. But don't come in here with this Josh Freeman garbage. He's done absolutely nothing to put himself solidly in front of Matt Stafford, much less a full round higher.

There really is no way Stafford can be better than Freeman. Arm-wise, they are fairly even, and Freeman has the edge in size, leadership, and accuracy. He can lead an offense and read a defense better than Stafford, and that's worth a hell of a lot.
