Apparentally the Broncos signed TE Daniel Graham, no link yet as far as I can tell, but it has been confirmed by ESPN radio.
Good signing as long as he wasn't TOO expensive, great blocker who will only help the team out.

God, I hate the Broncos.

The Broncos are the next Patriots.

Except they can't.. you know.. win in the playoffs.

his blocking should work well with schefflers pass catching

Damn the Broncos and all who enjoy watching them.

I'm surprised he didn't go somewhere where he could be the #1 TE and featured pass catcher. I foresee this working out similarly to the Pats situation. Why not go somewhere like Minnesota? Odd...

Eh, I am indifferent. He went to Colorado and is from the area, so it makes sense. Hopefully we get a decent compensatory pick for him...

With the amount of money ya'll have for free agency, don't count on it.

I don't foresee the Pats getting much in the way of compensatory anything in 2008.

If it's true, it will be a very nice pickup for the team. Lots of 2 TE sets coming up...

@stillaraiderfan -> the Raiders are so bad that it's hard to hate them in return... perhaps your boys will get their act together this year and make the rivalry fun again?

Yah it's too bad we didn't make the playoffs, that would have been a great matchup...oh wait a ****** you didn't make the playoffs either.

I really wanted Graham to come to Oakland. We need a TE that doesn't have cement blocks for hands. Since he is from Colorado it makes sense that he would want to play there and finish off his career.

REPORTS OF GRAHAM DEAL NOT TRUE

John Crowe of WSKO radio tells us that he has spoken to Jack Mills, the agent for tight end Daniel Graham, and that Mills says that no deal has been reached between the Broncos and Graham.

Mills will appear on WSKO at 3:30 p.m. EST to address the situation. The spot can be heard right here.

well you must have been in a vegitative state over the last 12 years.. 2 superbowls and a trip to the.. AFC championship game.

But your right, no sucess in the playoffs at all

eh.......Dont see them as a threat to the Colts top spot in the AFC yet.

Graham will still end up a Bronco.

I don't see why he would make this move. He'll just end up being the second stringer again...

I think that he'd want to sign w/ a team where he'd be the featured TE like either the Saints, Vikings, etc...

Graham to Denver makes the most sense because his Dad played for them (I believe) and that's where he grew up and he went to college in Boulder...

Nostalgia is nice and all, but this is a business. You should go where you have the best chance to showcase your skills and start. I believe this is a bad decision by Graham.

Pretty good pick up, him and Scheffler should make a good tandem

Wow, and I thought comparing the Broncos front office to the Patriots front office was a compliment.

Except the Patriots have been to three Super Bowls recently, but if you guys wanna be bitches and go "nyah nyah Cowboys suck," be my guest.

this is garbage. The Pats have a good young TE in Scheffler, they dont even need Graham. I swear theyre just signing him so the Raiders cant get him. For me, Graham was #1 on my FA wishlist. I hope he waits until he visits the Raiders to make a decision.

Graham's a great player, he has been a great player for us. He gets labeled as a pure blocking TE sometimes (he is one of the top blocking TE's in the NFL imo), but he has shown that he can be a quality receiver when thrown to. Whoever signs him will get a great player. If he can go to a team where he is the #1 go-to TE, which he wasn't here, he could become an elite NFL tight end.

ESPN Radio just reported the Broncos have signed Graham. Could be another false alarm, but you'd think they'd be a little more careful after the last one...

well I still havent officially heard he signed with Broncos and hes supposed to be visiting the Raiders today so hopefully we get a shot at him.

anyone got any updates on the status of Graham? Did he visit the Raiders yesterday and is there any news?

doesn't surprise me, the Pats have been preparing for his departure since last year when they drafted Garrett Mills and David Thomas. I didn't expect them to make any attempt to retain him.

Great pickup for the Broncos. He will help out Cutlers development significantly.
