View Full Version : Is Cullen Harper's dream of playing in the NFL over?

I know it's very early to be gauging this but, I think Cullen Harper still stands a shot at getting drafted late.

Good Poise in the Pocket
Quick Release
Somewhat Mobile
Somewhat Accurate

Looks lost/confused on big plays
Underachieving on a Clemson team that should still be ranked
Leads defenses with his eyes

So is it safe to say, that even with his most recent benching, that he will not get drafted?

He'll be at the Senior Bowl, so that is where he will make or break his draft.

Fortunately for him none of the other seniors are shooting up boards. It depends on which underclassmen declare but he should still get drafted imo.

He'll still make a team, but has gone from first rounder to 6th, 7th, maybe UDFA. Throwing Tommy Bowden under the bus certainly didn't help.

Also, he'll start November 1st because of Korn's injury, possibly afterwards as well.

I could see him having a good Senior Bowl (kind of opposite Andre Woodson). With Harper's fast release, I think the 6th round is most likely where he'll fall to.

He will definitely get drafted. He's going to be playing in the senior bowl and the senior quarterback class is just awful.

In a class like this, I could see a team picking him, especially with a good senior bowl.

I think somebody will draft him. He'll get drafted somwwhere between rounds 4-7 depending on how well he does in the post season including the Senior Bowl and the combine.

Looks like Cullen Harper had some sort of surgery on his shoulder today. However, it must be minor because he should be back in practice by the end of the week.

Just found an article:

This guy had Omar Jacobs type hype... and Omar Jacobs type fall.

No one will ever care about him in the end.

Sad truth is, that Chase Daniel will most likely be drafted after Harper :(

Exactly. The Senior Bowl, he can show his stuff and impress people.
